She called and said it was set up and that she needed a credit card to confirm, which I gave her but then she forgot to write everything down. When we got there on the day and time she gave us-no one was there and we called the number and left a message. She called back and said that there were no appointments, then after I reminded her of our call she says"oh I forgot" but then gave the excuse that she has been sick. Very poor business practices!!!!!! Took a treat I planned for my adult daughters and made it a nightmare. I was so glad other wonderful spa got us in for massages and then had to go to serveral nail salons to get in due to it being a Saturday. She lost over $600 plus all the tips we would have gave. I went to Ritas salon for the first time today and I would like to tell you a little about how my…read moreappointment went: I should have known at the consultation that it would be a mistake to proceed with the hair cut, but I made a mistake and let the hair dresser continue.. I told the woman a very basic cut and she couldn't understand what I was referring too, I didn't want the angle of the perimeter cut to far back. Then I got my face, I mean hair shampooed the woman cut my hair IN LESS THEN 5 MINUTES! she worked her way from right to left cutting exactly what I said to leave alone, and not from the middle out which I thought was strange. She did the layers holding my hair out 90% on the right side but as she rounded to my left side she was no where near 90%. She did not do one single cross check in the cut to check herself, or the evenness of the cut. I checked it myself and it is pretty darn bad! No texturing in the cut and I told her I was growing my bangs out to blend in to my cut but she went ahead and chopped at them. I expected more of an AVEDA concept salon, well I would expect more from any salon. ( I also expected AVEDA products to be used, they were not) I am not writing this because I wish someone would have saved me from going in. Also she was so rough blow drying, tangling and brushing my hair my eyes were watering and I left with a big headache. I am not tender headed. She didn't dry it all the way or style it, and used so much gloss it looked like I hadn't bathed in days. All in all this was a terrible experience. I will say she was a pleasant woman on her behalf, and it did look like another stylist there knew what she was doing, so maybe I was unlucky and got the worst stylist there :( Good Luck
