THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I almost missed a bus to a surgery that I've had on the books for two years. the company never reached out initially with a number that I could call in case there was an issue. My ride was scheduled for 4:30AM and we were told to be outside by 4:15AM. The driver never showed or called. I had to wake my 60 year old mother up at 5AM to catch a ride to Seattle. Then 5 hours after they were supposed to pick us up the people at Patty Wagon call to inform the us that they never showed. The woman gave the most apathetic apology and told us that reason her driver never showed was because he "confused AM with PM" and that going forward she would "make sure the drivers know the difference between AM and PM". This was the west experience I've ever had with a medical ride company BAR NONE. read more

PattyWagon saved me when I stressed out about finding a ride to an important doctor appointment. Jolene (the driver) was phenomenal. Showed up on time, took me to doctor appointment, walked in with me, waited, came in when appointment was over and safely back home. .... worth every penny (extra for the wait time). Moving in town, Patty Wagon was recommended to me. I just needed a ride to and from the grocery store. Even though Patty Wagon is for longer trips and medical appts I was assured a trip to the store was ok too. Out of 15 trips, they were late 15 minutes or so 3 times, they completely did not come pick me up at all 3 times and one time the ride was over an hour late. One ride was over an hour late. I had to call twice to find out what was going on. When she did arrive, she left the car running. She did not open the trunk for me to put my groceries in. I had to load them myself. She was on the phone the entire time. Even after I had my groceries in the car and was in and had my seat belt on, she continued to talk on her phone. Each time, I contacted the dispatcher and their attitude was not one of concern. Just told me to wait (for the late times). The last time they completely did not pick me up at all. I was told I was not on the schedule, even though I had confirmed when I called to make the appt a week in advance. When I called to ask for the owner, the dispatcher I had talked to earlier just laughed. What a way to treat a customer, right? Well, I did get in touch with the owner later that day and while she did apologize, she also made many excuses for her dispatchers, even though it was there fault for not writing down my appointment. I felt like I was being blamed for their incompetence. The last straw was yesterday. I set up an appointment last week WITH THE OWNER. I confirmed the time before we hung up. She was having some issues with the computer but confirmed the times. Yesterday, I called to confirm as she suggested and guess what? They had put me down for a different time without notifying me. Then tried to put it on me??? They gave me an alternative time which I could not understand since I made the appt last week and was told it was a go. After thinking about all of the times I have been mistreated and forgotten, it is obvious that this businesses loyalty is to her employees, not people who pay for the service. I guess maybe my trips are so short and not money makers. Easy to push me aside for more lucrative fairs. read more

I have to say that this is the cleanest transportatian I have ever road with. when I first was looking for transportation I can't lie I was having some dificulty but then when I road with the Patty wagon it felt like a gift from the gods. Riding with the Patty wagon was a good expiriance and I can't wait to ride with them again. read more

Rude. I can't believe that they'd charge like 4 times as much just because of in a wheelchair. That seems that it should be illegal.

I had to go up to Seattle for surgery last year and knew that I would not be able to drive myself up and back again, so I searched for options in the area and found Patty Wagon. Drivers on both ways were friendly and helpful. It was not a cheap trip but I knew taking a regular taxi would be too. The driver on the way back let me take a brief detour to hit an ATM in Federal Way so I could pay the fare and give him a tip, which was appreciated since you are not wise to bring a ton of money with you to a hospital. I also appreciated that on the trip up they were aware of traffic piling up around JBLM so the driver took a backroad route that got us in to Tacoma via the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and saved at least a half hour of time. The one down side is that they are cash only for the long trips so you have to plan ahead. At least on the long trips like this they don't mind a quick stop if needed.
