I had gone to another place that told me it would be an 2 hours. Saw this place and decided to try it. There was only one person in front of me and it was a Saturday. I went in there with a fever and it hurt to breath. I was taken right back and saw a really nice Dr. Was diagnosed and given antibiotics. Was very happy with the staff and care. read more

This is typically my go to urgent care because it's closest to my home. We usually receive good care here. The wait times are hit or miss. My biggest issue is the website said walk ins are welcome, but then we get there and they say appointment only. Really frustrating and wish they'd get that figured out. I'd just recommend calling before walking in for that reason. read more

Front desk performed excellent. I saw the triage nurse after about a 15 minutes which was no problem. Happy so far. I had a finger laceration which had been stitched several days before but the wound reopened so I needed to see the doctor for a repair. There were 2 other people in the waiting area so it was not over crowded. I finally got into an exam room after about a half hour wait. Still ok as I realized the other people needed to be seen as well. Now the bad news. I sat in the exam room for over an hour and 20minutes. The staff has always been Incredibly kind and helpful! I appreciate the swift care and ease of the check in process. Dr. Michael is by far the best and most helpful Doctor I've ever been cared for by. He helps you get fast and effective treatment and truly listens to his patients if they have any concerns. I've had two bouts of kidney stones in the last year and gives you medicine and some lifestyle suggestions to help alleviate the pain and passing. I had to write a review because we have had Such bad experiences here. We came here last month and got a doctors note. The front desk put pertinent medical information about my child on the note without asking, and that is a HIPPA violation. So fast forward till today and my daughter has pink eye. We check in at 8:15am and wait 1.5 hours. We finally get back at the Medical Assistant isn't looking at me. she is giving very confusing directions for an eye exam to my daughter and then almost pokes my daughters eye/face with a pen. She was maybe two centimeters away. I was shocked and walk up and told her to keep her pen to herself.But still didn't look at me. We go into a room and I ask how long it will take for the doctor. She says it could be really long she doesn't know and that's when she finally looks me in the eye. She is stoned and I realize why she put a pen in my daughters face and why her directions did not make sense. Her eyes are slanted, red and hazy. We immediately left and went to a different clinic. Got seen right away and We will not be going back here. read more

My son was seen at Providence Hawks Prairie Immediate care on July 11th, 2020 in the middle of the Covid Pandemic after returning to work ( wearing mandatory masks) in the service industry after 3 months of strict quarantine while going to college. My 25 year old son is experiencing severe abdominal pain and vomiting. I am a physician in King County and was at the epicenter in March. I work full time and send patients with GI symptoms for covid testing daily. I directed my son late last night, early morning to contact his physician office who directed him to be seen today. He is experiencing Covid symptoms. My son followed his doctors directions and sought care. One of my practice's 17 year old patients began exactly the same and had 3 negative covid NP swabs prior to his 4th sputum tear which was positive when admitted to the ICU. The beginning of his symptoms presented like appendicitis. My son's girlfriend brought him to Providence Immediate care and he saw Daniel Ray Morgenstern, ARNP. My son was told he has viral gastroenteritis, but was refused a Covid NP swab since he did not present with coughing. He is coughing ( since he has severe asthma and is on daily steroid prevention ) but that was disregarded and not considered as a risk factor. Younger people testing positive in Washington State has nearly doubled. January through March, 22% of cases were in people 35 years and younger, whereas in May and June they were 46% of cases. We will not get this thing under control until we test our cases and then follow contact tracing. He was not even given guidance about recommended quarantine or return to work protocols. I instructed my son To RETURN to the facility and request a test. The facility has drive through testing during the week that they advertise without an order. My son was literally IN the facility with symptoms and literally requested the test and was denied AND turned away to return on Monday to the drive through. This is not only bad medicine and bad care, but really egregious. This provider is not following the mission of Providence and also contributing to the Covid Pandemic... Providence should do one or all of 3 things. 1. Provide outreach services to my son and an apology. 2. Reconsider the employment of this provider. 3. Reconsider their Mission statement posted below: Our Mission As expressions of God's healing love, witnessed through the ministry of Jesus, we are steadfast in serving all, especially those who are poor and vulnerable. Update Sunday: I called the immediate clinic to find out their protocol for testing. He said it is at their discretion who gets tested since they have limited tests. During the week you do t have to have an appointment to get tested. So it seems like symptomatic patients seeking care would fit into his discretion. Monday: Drive through: it takes 8-9 days to get a return from the drive through. Today he is coughing and shortness of breath. On top of vomiting and diarrhea. His diagnosis from NP Morgenstern: viral illness. I'm not sure who Daniel Ray Morgenstern is saving covid tests for. I am betting they had all their tests unused by the end of his shift and/ or weekend. read more

Logged in on line this morning and the web site says 37 minute wait. I left my home a few minutes later and arrived there in about 20-25 minutes. When I went to check in with the receptionist she said that it was a 2 hour wait. When I asked why the web said 37 minutes her reply was that the web site doesn't take into consideration the people already there. Doesn't take those already checked in into figuring the wait time?? Where did the 37 minutes come from then? If this is truly how their system is set up I want nothing to do with them. I turned around and walked out. read more

This place is an absolute f***ing joke. Originally told 40 minute wait. We're now at 2 and a half hours and counting . At the 2 hour mark, I was told I was next then I proceeded to watch 2 people get called back before me. If you have immediate needs, absolutely do not come here. read more

My daughter and I had the best experience at Hawks Prairie Immediate Care. My daughter was in so much pain and she was so sad and upset about her cheer season being done from an injury she sustained. As she cried Dr. Lorich just held her and comforted her. He was so incredibly kind. The entire staff that day was wonderful. The front desk staff, the RN, the radiology staff, the doctor, and the MA were just wonderful. They quickly and efficiently took care of her injury all while showing her such kindness and empathy. THIS PLACE IS THE VERY BEST AND I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL THEY DID FOR ME, AND THAT I COULD BE TREATED BY THE KNOWLEDGEABLE, FIRST RATE, AMAZING DR. EMILY CLAY; I mean, you just can't get better. (3 of the visits were with Dr. Clay, 10/21 and 1/22; my first visit was excellent, too, which is why I decided to return here, but I forget the physician's name, a male.) These people "saved my life" on four occasions during the past two years when I was unable to see my regular doctor and was having trouble breathing. I was treated for bronchitis, sinus infection, and laryngitis. Each visit I was treated respectfully and kindly; everyone was friendly. It's quite irritating to me when I see reviewers here complaining about their long waits; good medical care cannot be rushed; even if a physician were added, this is an EMERGENCY, NO-APPOINTMENT medical care operation. I hate Urgent Care clinics. First time here and I was comfortable, they took care of me, it was fast and efficient. Everyone was nice, they could have been a bit more enthusiastic to be working there at the front desk that day, but could have been a crazy day for them too. I am only giving Providence Immediate Care one star because you can't give negatives. My husband was injured on the job and saw a doctor here. He was stabbed with a dirty work knife yet the doctor said he, "bled enough to clean the wound naturally" so no cleaning was ever done. He knew my husband hit a vein but stitched his knee up too tight and as soon as he was finished his knee was already ballooning up with blood so he pushed the blood out and hurried to wrap it up and said it will stop bleeding in 24 hours and told my husband he'd be back to work in a few days. No CT scan or MRI was ordered to see if anything else major had been hit considering it was a 4 inch blade that went almost all the way in above the kneecap. That was June 2nd and he's just now going back to work! The same night my husband was seen here he wound up in the ER with a 102 fever, extreme pain and swelling, and massive blood clots. The wound had to be reopened, cleaned out, stitched up lightly and he was referred to an orthopedic specialist like he should've been to begin with! Let me put it to you this way, you would be better off going to a vet than seeing the doctor my husband saw. read more

My husband died as a result of their err in judgement. Do not trust their judgement. They adhere to a "better sorry than safe" approach. They see a concern and decide it's not a big deal. It can wait. The next day the patient is dead because they thought it could wait. I would think that a medical professional would want to err on the side of caution. It's about life and death after all. But, no, they decided they could gamble with my husband's life. I was told they did everything according to protocol. No apology was given. I think they should change their protocol if it means they could save lives by being more careful. I will never understand their careless attitude toward my husband's life or their lack of medical knowledge that should have prompted them to further investigation. Sorry to be so blunt, but the lack of care my husband received at this clinic resulted in his death and can never forgive them for that. read more
