I am shocked that this place is even open. It is an incredibly poor excuse for a zoo and needs to be closed. All of the animals except for the deer are in extremely small enclosures with little to no enrichment. The only animals that had an acceptable enclosure were the deer, although they seemed very malnourished. The Japanese Macaque was on a stained concrete floor with tons of food waste all around. The monkeys only had 2 actual toys, besides that, they had a metal chain and metal store shelves. I've volunteered at my local zoo in the past and it makes me sad to see these animals being treated this way. read more

Fantastic time! Such nice owners and a great place to take my toddler! She had so much fun! Lots of friendly animals that looked super relaxed and happy, super fun to roam around, they have a really fun open field with lots of dear that come right up to you! Really enjoyed our time here. Fun to feed the animals, especially the deer who will eat right out of your hand. Caution-when feeding the trout you will get wet if you toss the food close to the edge of the water. We'll definitely take the grandkids back every summer while they're little and enjoy it. $50 for one 2-year old, four adults and a bucket of animal feed, I thought that was a very fair price for a couple of hours walking around seeing many different animals and feeds many of them. read more

My 7 year old grandson absolutely loved the trout pond & feeding the deer by hand. It was a small scale zoo, but it had a good variety of animals. read more

The people that work here are so friendly! The zoo is pretty small but it was still a really fun to walk around and see the wide selection of animals they have. The food selection to feed the animals is also amazing, you get fruits, veggies and corn! You get to hand feed the deer by hand and touch them which is always super fun! The area for some of the animals was small but all the animals look well taken care of! read more

After spending only 15, maybe 20 minutes, there... my fiancé and I left very disturbed and depressed. The animals are in small enclosures and all looked sad and sickly. Small, concrete enclosures. The feeders had captain crunch in them... why on earth are they feeding "wild" animals captain crunch? I would recommend saving your money and going to a proper zoo. I cannot fathom how this place has not been shut down and is allowed to stay in business with how awful and sickly these poor animals look. read more

This place was so fun. Our little family had a great time running with the deer, feeding them with their hands and feeding other animals. The animals were super awesome and the Lion, lets just say Huge! We enjoyed it very much and we look forward to our nexts visit. read more

I am so depressed after visiting. Visiting from out of town I have a little daughter and thought it would be fun for her to see the animals. I did not imagine there'd be lions, tigers, kangaroos in such small cages. Those poor wolves running around in figure eights. And letting visitors feed some of the animals!! Overfeeding animals that shouldn't be fed what looks like dog food in the first place. We watched as one of the pigs vomit up all the food given to him. Topped it off as we were leaving the young man at the front counter was warming up a heating pad in the microwave for the baby cheetah he was holding in him arm as the 3 dogs watched and the animal that looked like a sickly kangaroo wrapped up in a blanket. This place is soul crushing. I wish I would of read reviews before coming. I honestly don't know how this place is still open given the poor conditions these animals appear to be living in. read more

Far too small and of enclosures for the animals. The only properly sized enclosure was the deer enclosure. Lion had far to small of space. Serval was pacing back and forth at the edge of the enclosure. Camel didn't have enough space either. Also far to expensive for the amount of animals. read more

Walking in the deer pen feeding the deer is really a neat, unique feature. Also able to feed other animals through tubes. The kids love this place! Staff is very nice and helpful. It's not too expensive. Really just a nice family activity when you have a free couple hours to spend outside. read more

It is shocking this place is a legal operation. I'm not sure it even is. Animals are kept in tiny cages with concrete floors. Some seem malnourished while others seem obese from being over fed -- the staff sells packages of kibble to feed the animals, and I'm sure they don't monitor how much each animal is given. The lemurs were like giant balloons they were so fat. The gift shop here has more memorabilia and tacky gifts than a Disney Land gift shop. Appalling that they'd spend all that money on merchandise when they have a fully grown black bear crammed inside a cage barely big enough for him to turn around in. How can you stick a baboon in a dog kennel and call it an "animal park"? I don't know. But they do it at Paul Bunyan's Animal Land. Do yourself a favor. Bring your kids to a real zoo, and show them how wild animals should actually be treated. read more

This was incredibly sad to see. The animals are in small enclosures; many were exhibiting abnormal and stressed behaviors. The deer had a huge space though, and looked the most relaxed. We stayed for a few minutes, but left quickly feeling bad that we spent money to see that kind of suffering. I'm not even sure the enclosures are up to legal, humane standards. read more

The humongous deer pen is fun but I can't support a business with wild animals in such bad conditions in such small pens. Would support it if they focused more on the deer and a few small animals.....it's kind of soul crushing to go there. read more

Make sure you go in with the right expectations. It's totally fine for burning a quick hour and keeping small children amused. There isn't much here for adults, even those into kitchy activities. Wear appropriate shoes if you plan to go pet the deer or watch your steps very carefully. read more

This place is shocking to say the least. I was in town visiting family from Boston but back east this kind of establishment would be shut down immediately or never able to open to begin with. How is this legal? I read there have been 3 animal escapes in 3 years, not surprised. Even if you have no qualms with treating animals like crap, the fences they have surrounding them are flimsy and in no way secure enough. The African lions must be 400 lb animals and they literally have two rows of chicken wire separating them from the public. They also have primates in dog kennels with children's play equipment, the baboon kept throwing his play house at the cage door and I was actually afraid he might get out. They are highly intelligent primates and are kept in by a master lock (no joke). For your own safety and your children's safety DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE! It's appalling, sad, and dangerous. read more
