The people they hire to do the installation for us are Rude the minute he got to my house was being rude and told me that he was not gonna do it because we weren't done moving our stuff and he even called m y furniture junk he went out side got on his van and took off We called the store and they didn't do anything about it , we asked for a refund and they said they could only give us the installation fee back because they had already cut the carpet they didn't stand up for us or see what they could do for us NOTHING.!!! then I had to find some one to install it and to top it off pick up the carpet all the way to Odessa my self. read more

Only use this business is you do not care when your project is completed. Re-scheduled my install multiple times. Only one of those times did they contact me beforehand to tell me; all the other times, I spent hours waiting on them to arrive before having to call them. Poor, Poor, Poor. Workmanship is passable but not anything outstanding. They do require full payment up front. Should have known this was a red flag. My recommendation is to find someone else, use another company. There are numerous companies in Odessa and Midland, pick one of them, stay away from Paul Evans. read more

I had paul Evans come out and take measurements for tile in my bathroom. They ordered 45% excess and then stated they do not do returns. They also ordered the wrong tile also stating they don't do returns leaving me with the wrong tile and refusing to reorder the correct items. They will take your money upfront promising 2 week delivery but actually took 4 months to deliver. I even canceled part of my order because of the long wait and undetermined delivery date. Yet again I had already paid and did not receive my money back. If you are looking for tile or any flooring I would suggest you are cautious about anyone in the Midland store. read more

manager Jasmin at Odessa rx store told me they do not drug test or do a back ground check. so, to me this means : they send contractors to homes as long as they get paid. they are rude and will never do business. filed a BBB complaint against them. Go to see BBB reviews before buying there. read more

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST SO ANYONE GETTING READY TO PURCHASE CARPET WONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID! DON'T USE PAUL EVANS!!!!! The carpet piece is what we purchased. We went in the store, the salesman showed us the multicolored. We liked it and asked for a small piece to help us select decor for the room. We walked to the purchase area with the carpet piece in the salesman's hand. He wrote up the order, handed us our piece of carpet, and we left. They came this morning and laid this greenish solid colored carpet. I called, at the very least expecting an apology. What I got.....we laid what you ordered....the end! The lady was a bit rude and said the salesman specifically remembers what we asked to purchase. Definitely no apology or an offer to try and make it right. read more

Make sure that you are watching these guys as they are installing your floors. They took cash and broke my wreath and outdoor Christmas sign. They left a mess of my master bathroom. They also went through our personal items. Very unprofessional installers. read more

Midland location: EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not trust your flooring needs to be handled well. The sales person, Bunni and her manager are all about a quick sale and getting your money. They do not care about whether the job is done right and do not take the time to make sure you are actually purchasing what it will take to properly complete the job. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly by a flooring sales crew. Buyer beware before even going to them to comparison shop. The level of incompetence is astounding, given what information was left out of the buying process, which was only surpassed by their unwillingness to do to right by the customer. I am sorry that Paul Evans' name is attached to this business because apparently he no longer owns it, and it shows. read more

I actually went through the Midland store, but my experience was great! The staff in-store was extremely helpful and friendly and not pushy at all. They came out to do measurements at my house with only hours notice, and had an estimate to me by the end of the day. Installation was scheduled in less than a week, and the crew did a great job and were also very friendly and professional. Pricing was reasonable. These guys definitely stand out in an area unfortunately known for bad customer service. No need to call elsewhere- go to Paul Evans! read more

The installers did a fine job with the click lock tile installation but trying to get a necessary follow up done from the people at Paul Evans Carpet was like pulling eyeteeth! I would not do business with them again! Paul Evans Carpet is not owned by Paul Evans anymore. I doubt if this/these place(s) will stay in business much longer. I can't be the only customer that has had trouble with these guys! read more

Paul Evans requires 100% down before starting services. This should tell you everything. Beware, once they have your money, they have little incentive to complete the job in a timely manner and do a great job. After two months and multiple mistakes on their part, they finally finished a simple floor tile and back-splash job. It was so bad, it was almost funny. I'm guessing they missed ten appointment times and had to order more back-splash twice The manager in Midland, in my opinion, needs to do some other job. OMG read more
