Truly enjoyed my stay at the Inn. When I return, I will definitely want to stay here again. It…read moreoffered such a friendly, relaxing respite to everyday life. Reservations can be made online or through directly calling. When I had a little confusion online with the dates I wanted and the room type of room, I called their reservation desk. They made it quite easy and work for me. Price is competitive, especially when compared to similar area waterfront hotels. The Inn is located in downtown Lewes along the canal with wonderful views. Easy walking distance to Lewes downtown restaurants, shops and historic sites. The Lewes beach is just under a mile from the hotel location. Outlet malls, Cape Henlopen State Park, Cape May - Lewes Ferry Terminal and Rehoboth Beach are all an easy drive. The location is ideal. My room was quite comfortable. Had all I could need with an amazing balcony and view of the canal. Someone had cranked the temperature low on the refrigerator. So, it froze items I had placed in it. Housekeeping was respectful of my privacy and diligent about servicing my room when I wanted it. Towels were soft. Bed was very comfortable. Wi-fi was fast. Room and outlaying areas were clean. The Inn offers a small fitness center with the basic equipment useful in doing strength as well as cardio exercise. A breakfast bar is included with your stay. It had a variety of fresh fruit, a couple yogurt flavors, a couple cereals and hard boiled eggs. There were pitchers of different juices, coffee thermoses, a selection of teas available. Breakfast breads and toast varied daily. Much of the breads were store bought type breads. It's a nice spread, but after a few days, I wanted something more. There are several local restaurants conveniently nearby serving breakfast menus that I also enjoyed.

This is a fabulous small boutique hotel. Oz is an amazing front desk and reservation person. Our…read moreroom was clean and perfect in every way. We had two queen beds for my daughter and me. The beds were very comfortable. In the morning breakfast came with the room. It was yummy and easy to enjoy with the other guests in the dining area. If you are in a hurry, grab your breakfast and keep going. The location is spectacular because it's at the Marina. The town of Lewes is quaint and historic. The only negative is don't try to go out to eat without a reservation. Sitting is limited and restaurants fill up early. All and all, we loved the hotel, clean, spacious, comfy beds, and warm hospitality. Highly recommend the Inn at the Canal.

Good for staying with kids, the breakfast is much nicer than they advertise…read more Pros: Good location close to the main drag in Rehoboth. New building with modern furnishings and finishes. Good room layout; very pleased to find a real bedroom suite so that the adults could shut the door and sleep while the kids settled down on the pull out sofa. Great amenities inside the room and overall very clean. The breakfast area was really nicely stocked and very clean, everyone in my family found something appealing to eat and drink. Cons: The super modern shower has no curtain; just half a pane of glass so your shower water graciously moistens the floor and the toilet paper as you shower. I hate this trend. There was also already some wear and tear and some moldy spots on the bottom of the shower ledge/floor which was not so appealing. We could hear our neighbors walking above our bedroom, the building is stick built new construction so you can hear everything in the hall too. Fine for one night at the beach but would be annoying on a longer stay. Overall a nice place for a quick beach trip. PS I booked it with Southwest points, so it was "free".

There is a large kitchen area, with a small dining table. Comes with plates/utensils etc. The living room area contained a large couch (prob a pull out) and long table for working You can set the temperature for your AC/Heat. Shower had half a glass, space in the back of the shower to place your phone/music equipment, there was soap/hair shampoo dispenser in shower. Bathroom was Very clean! Free parking Excellent , complimentary breakfast. Kitchen staff was super nice!!! There is a pool. Dogs are allowed I believe. Great location to Rehobeth Beach areas Lovely hotel, come & stay here!!
