Also had the Foie Gras which was a large slice and delicious but the beet and lobster salad was better. For our entrées, my wife had the Bolognese, which comes with large penne pasta and pretty good. I would've preferred fettuccine noodle or shorter tube to pasta. The large tube penne was impossible to get in your mouth by itself. I had the tile fish entrée which was OK. I just probably wouldn't get it again. For dessert, we shared the blueberry cobbler. It was a bit cold, but had a good flavor. Not an inexpensive evening, so I wish things have gone a bit better given what we paid. Kind of interesting that the manager came by and made sure to talk to every table but ours on the porch. The guide was extremely knowledgeable & kudos to the driver, CM is rich in history & there were plenty of great stories told. We took the basic show us all around CM tour & tell us about the homes & characters that lived here many moons ago. The homes are really gorgeous to look at & since this was only day 2 of our vaca we could appreciate it all the more later on during the week while walking. A thoroughly enjoyable way to learn the history of CM, highly recommend & reasonable price per ticket.

The bed was very comfortable & I liked that we could control the temperature in our room. The sink for the bathroom is outside the bathroom with hardly any countertop just so you know. Excellent breakfast - you do have to make your selection the night before which is a little difficult since sometimes I want something different when I wake up. food was very good & excellent service. We sat in the second row. The first row looked too comfy ha! You have to order food before hand (I didn't realize that but i know for next time). We had popcorn and watch the Gremlins. Plenty of street parking. Staff very friendly. SInce there is only a curtain between the lobby and the seating you can hear people if they talk loud. She was very knowledgable and talked up each pour. The place is brand new - I could smell it. And everything about the ambiance was very nice. There is a tasting area outdoors we stayed inside. It was moderately crowded but Karen never lost it and took care of us we were 5 and a couple of other groups were also present. We bought an Albariño.
