One of our biggest challenges we faced was the responsibility to sell the family home. We live in Northern Arizona, and our parents home was in the West Valley ( Westbrook Village) Jen Johansen was recommended by our neighbor who knew Jen. From the first phone call though the process of so many questions and concerns, Jen was always available to answer our calls. Jen worked with the company we had hired to do an Estate Sale, going as far as listing the estate sell on her Home Smart Page to help with the advertising. I viewed the property, loved it, and applied. I was told the listing would be removed which it wasn't. I didn't see this as a big deal since I hadn't signed a lease yet. Fast forward to a week later, I have been completely ghosted. I have constantly had to hound the realtors for responses and updates. I was told yesterday I would be sent a lease to sign, but once again I didn't receive it. I reached out to the woman I was working with as well as her partner today, and still no response. This has been such a disappointing experience, bringing me nearly to tears as I wrote this review. I lost out on other properties waiting and waiting for responses from this company and believing their promises. For this reason, I would caution any prospective renters before applying to any properties managed by Basin.

Do NOT deal with this scam company!!…read more I filled out an application for a 3 bedroom 2 bath townhome I did everything I needed to get the move in special.... I did everything they asked me to and I never heard anything back and then I had to find out off of Google and their website that the listing was taken down they didn't even have the decency to notify me I had to reach out to them and supposedly the owner took it down because they were doing renovations and I tried to explain to them that I'm a single parent and this place was in my price range and to ask them when the renovations would be done as I was willing to wait well now all of a sudden the rent jumped almost 400 a month! And when I called them out on it and said this place isn't worth that much a month they magically "leased" it in the time we were texting! Not to mention I did my research and found out this place is not actually a three bedroom two bath it's a two bedroom one bath in about 300 ft.² smaller than they said it was and when I asked her about it she said she never even saw the place in person herself but continue to insist that it was a three bedroom! Paid over $200 to apply for this place! Ridiculous!
