    This company took over less than 2 weeks, few people have seen them however they quickly increased the rent by avg $500 beginning August and this is July really let's you know it is PROFIT over PEOPLE. More homelessness to come this has to be stopped or controlled in AZ. This is WRONG.

    STOP "DO NOT" RENT FROM market edge realty. I moved into 1524 w. Sahuaro dr. 9/1/2019 as of 12/1/2021 my rent has "doubled" i had to fix the fence because the handyman thinks if you put 27 screws in one corner (see pics below) i sanded, primed and painted the bathroom window, because it was so rusted my roommate would not use it. there are a bunch of things in that place. The portal is a P.O.S. I have been charged late fees several times, because the portal would not take my payment, and yes i called the office to have them tell me that the portal is working fine, i then ask 6 out 7 other renters who told me they had the same problem many times. BUT THE PART THAT REALY BOTHERED ME, WAS THE FACT THAT THE "FILTER CHANGER" IS A SPY FOR market edge. as he`s changing your filter he`s taking notes on the condition of your unit. INVATION OF PRIVICY. proof in the pics. market edge has charged me $25 18 times for an air filter that they have changed 3 times since that SCAM was implemented. SO MUCH MORE I CAN SAY, but i am busy looking for a new place. what i do have time for, is a class action law suite against market edge realty if anyone is interested comment below.

    Renter beware! Lived at this residence for four years and was unceremoniously kicked out so that they may up the rent by a 1,000 dollars to capitalize on the struggling housing market. Apparently this has not panned out well as they still cannot find any one willing to rent despite rate reductions. On top of everything else they frequently ignore maintenance orders and have the audacity to attempt to charge my family to repair those very things they neglected to do! This includes faulty electrical sockets which were outputting way too much voltage and causes two of my appliances to die within seconds of plugging them in. Additionally, as remarkable as it may seem, I was even sent an instructional video on how to repair my door after submitting an order because the front door wouldn't shut! Here are two recent pictures of the place I rented taken months after well left. Overgrown weeds and general disrepair. And this what they are presenting when they want someone to rent their unit. How do you think they will care for the unit after you've signed? If you do rent from them be sure to retain all of your email correspondence as I have to use against them in court. Update: On the 9th of November Market Edge contacted me in a feeble attempt to bribe me into taking my review down. Jenne, as usual, was condescending, aggressive and adversarial. I will soon be contacting the board of realtors and filling an official complaint on Miller.

    They want you to pay to tour units as some sort of self-guided convenience and act like that's normal.

One of our biggest challenges we faced was the responsibility to sell the family home. We live in Northern Arizona, and our parents home was in the West Valley ( Westbrook Village) Jen Johansen was recommended by our neighbor who knew Jen. From the first phone call though the process of so many questions and concerns, Jen was always available to answer our calls. Jen worked with the company we had hired to do an Estate Sale, going as far as listing the estate sell on her Home Smart Page to help with the advertising. Jen and one of her friends went over after the sell, and cleaned and staged the home with the furniture items that were still there. Fresh Flowers greeted each potential home buyer. Jen guided us with multiple offers, helping us make the best choice. Jen is a professional, and looks out for her clients in multiple ways. Jen is a kind, and caring person. She went as far to find out how many grandchildren our folks had? Strange question we thought, but at Christmas came beautiful gifts wrapped for each grandchild with a book she hade made with photographs of our Fathers Art Work. Not a dry eye on that Christmas Morning. We highly recommend this special lady- Thankful clients in Northern Arizona.

    Do not move here. The complex itself is beautiful, when everything is functioning. Prior to Avenue5…read moretaking over, Town Deer Valley was the most amazing complex. Everything ran smoothly, they hosted 3-6 events a month, the office staff were incredibly helpful, & more. In February 2025, when Avenue5 took over, everything went down hill immediately. Additional fees added to your statement, pest control problems, car break-ins WEEKLY (they do not care if this happens to you), amenities not functioning, ESPECIALLY the gates-they will be broken constantly, incredibly unhelpful office staff, internet going out, rarely host events, etc. The whole thing felt like a bait and switch. You have to borderline harass the staff in the office to get any response via email or phone. When you physically go into the office its a weird, uncomfortable experience. They use the Livly app for communication between everyone and "anyone" can post, ever since Avenue5 took over the posts are heavily monitored and often get denied or removed. The attached screenshots are before they started manually approving every post and denying anything negative. They are also all from within the same few weeks. They are over 3 weeks late returning my security deposit, per A.R.S. § 33-1321 they have 14 days. They have not been answering emails or phone calls.

You get a code to enter on the site that waves-370 fees. Great! Than you get email that you qualified ...awesome , only to get two different lease agreements with added fees for amin , application fees and they dropped your special from 10 to 6 weeks. Than you decide not to go with them and they say no problem we are happy to remove your application and see us back if you change your mind we are happy to have you here to....few days later you get an email saying "move out fees" for never signing a contract nor living there to asking you to pay 170 dollars for the application fee that clearly was waived , included in their lease agrement and have screenshot of all their communication. When you ask them to fix that they say they won't and you to take it up with the dispute company. Horrible management , they also fucked up my appointment 3 times which took time and day out of my work schedule with not able to see the right model I asked for in writing and them confirming everything in writing. They lie , they give you bogus information on charges and then surprise you dont wanna go with them they slap you with fees you didn't even know where they come from. SCAM safe your money and your peace! Don't be fooled by their nice pool and gym as that's all there is to it!
