We get our tree from Paul & Sandy's every year and it's such a fun tradition. The trees are hung up and shaken out so you can see what you're getting. The quality of the trees is great - 5-6 years and we've never had a bad tree. They're full, look green and healthy until the New Year and smell amazing. As a plus, there's complimentary hot cider and popcorn, which my kids love. Something I can say yes to after picking out our tree and it also provides a snack for the ride home. read more

Pumpkin Town is mostly a pre-K through elementary age playground but adults have fun too. There are endless photo stops: come back to the big pumpkin back drop if there's a line when you enter, go straight to face painting before that line grows. Backdrop cutouts, the tractor, and a grow line are other photo stops that keep you coming back. One heads up that admission doubles on weekends, but $8 per person wasn't terrible, and there's a discount if you buy hayride and Pumpkin Town tickets together. Pumpkin facts are all over pumpkin town (pumpkins are hand-painted, costumed each year, and stored nightly, etc.) and it's a fun scavenger hunt for these facts. Jumping houses, tubes, and interactive houses were the best parts for our little one. Credit/debit users, remember to bring cash for postcards as you can send them postmarked from Pumpkin Town, autumn treats like cider donuts and popcorn at the snack stand, and the catapults over the pond aimed at Red Sox and Yankees targets (must be a Mets Family here!). Also remember a couple bucks to cash for the breast cancer donation box, in memory of Sandy herself. Having to bring cash isn't my favorite but there was a farm stand and snack bar with souvenirs where cards could be used. PUMPKINTOWN USA! It has been on my list to try in the fall the last 2 years! What a nice set up they have here. Great concept adding pumpkin heads to scarecrows and having them do normal human being type of activities. There are little building kids can go inside and play in. There was a catapult families could take a chance at (free with a purchase of the ride)- my daughter loved the catapult! The hay ride is worth the extra couple of bucks. Our group of 5 entered on with 1 other family of 3 so it was quiet and quaint! Our kids could see everything and enjoyed counting things hidden in the woods. The store is adorable offering lots of local favorites but most importantly you can't beat their pumpkin prices! The BEST part was the apple cider donuts. We purchased our and it was really warm, soft and ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I WANT MORE! MUST TRY! I have to say it might be the best donut I have ever eaten! read more

We had lots of fun today at the Pumpkin town event. They do it every year, and we have been the last three years. It is a little pricey, $13 a person to go on a 20 minute hayride and entry into a "town" with pumpkins decorated as people. Children aged 2 and younger are free for the hayride. There is a bounce house and plenty of "picture opportunities", like an wood carved out apple you can stick your face thru, a cat, etc. great for holiday cards! Outdoor port o potties and one indoor bathroom with sink and hot running water. They gave a shop that sells food, drinks, and prepared foods as well as seasonal decor read more

I take a trip every Spring to this nursery as they normally have different annuals in addition to the norm. This place is large and always busy. They have everything you need for your lawn and garden. House plants too. A little pricey. read more

My husband and I stopped by Paul And Sandy's too in September to talk about ordering some mums for our fall wedding on Oct 22. We happen to walk up to Jill, and this started a fantastic customer experience. Jill was upfront in telling us that mums that far late in the season are hard to find, but since they grew them it could be possible as long as we didn't have specific color requirements. Since that wasn't a requirement of ours, they agreed to monitor the flowering of the mums put 4 big mums (we think 14 inch) and 16 8 inch mums aside for our wedding. We called them two weeks prior as requested, and showed up on the day planned. These mums were so full, bright and healthy. They ended up having a variety of colors, and it was perfect for our fall wedding. Jill was very friendly and easy to work with. We'd recommend Paul and Sandy's too to anyone. read more

My family made a voyage over for the Pumpkin Town USA festivities. It was worth the trip. The price is reasonable and a portion of your admission goes to support a breast cancer foundation and there are plenty of opportunities to give more. We decided to do both the hayride and the pumpkin town. The hayride is a one mile jaunt through the woods with various pumpkin people(and animals!) on display doing various things. It was a nice little ride and the setups were well thought out and interesting. I would have liked the speed to be a little slower near the larger attractions to get a nice look, but that may just have been a function of our tractor operator. It's a solid mile and doesn't feel short when you're done. The Pumkpin Town piece was fun too. There are a bunch of little areas like a jail cell, a saloon and a wedding where all the people are pumpkins with punny names. We were there at a very busy time, so it was kind of a mad house. I think next year, we'll try to go during the week to get some more time without the people pressure with the pumpkins. It was also very clean and organized and upkept. It didn't feel like these have been on display for years. We didn't come to shop the flowers but from the quick look we took the flowers looked really full and bright with comparable prices. Overall, a nice relatively inexpensive afternoon out for the family. read more

They have my favorite corn, silver queen. We have utilized the garden shop for many things, local produce, mulch, dirt, flowers, pumpkins and of course Pumpkin Town. It is always neat, clean and friendly helpful staff. You can have things like dirt and mulch delivered or bring your truck and they will fill it up. read more

This is our favorite place to buy our plants! No lie, every year our Paul and Sandy's plants return full and beautiful...our Home Depot or Lowes plants...not so much. We're lucky if half of those come back. Just the care and quality is worth the cost. And, we found that P&S prices were actually better a few times this summer! My wife and I brought our daughter to pumkin town last Saturday. We got there right before ten and there was already a line. 6 bucks a person to get into the village. 13 bucks for the ride and village. Kids 2 and under free. But how they charge 3-12 year olds the same price as an adult is just plain greedy. The town itself is small. Half of the buildings are locked. I reccomened going on a weekday to cut down on the crowds. Paul and Sandy seem greedy to me. read more

Hanging planters are so healthy and beautiful the trouble is it's hard to pick one because each one is more beautiful that the next. The prices are worth the money spent. If you buy at a big box your going to find cheaper prices but inferior plants. I love the convenience and location of P&S 2. I love buying gifts for family and friends here because the gift never reeks "cheap". I've been going here for years and I have also noticed the staff can be somewhat less than warm but hey, they're here to serve us and it is a very busy place. I was there yesterday and the staff was very, but not overly friendly, so maybe they're reading reviews. Keep it up you are a great asset to East Hampton. See ya next week. read more
