We've gotten dog treats here too. Our German Shepherd likes the Earth Animal No Hide chews that come in different flavors. We have not been able to find these anyway else local. Today we signed up for their membership which was quick and easy. The best part is they had a coupon for something we were buying we didn't know about and the lady helping us let us use it for each item - great service!

You can tell they take pride in offering quality plants without the premium markup you see elsewhere. I came a little late in the season, so their perennial selection was already picked over, but honestly, that just shows how popular they are. Even with lower inventory, the staff was friendly, upbeat, and eager to help me find alternatives that would still work beautifully in my garden. I left with a cart full of healthy plants and a great experience overall. I'll definitely be back earlier next time to catch the full perennial lineup.

I originally appreciated Anthony's knowledge and service--until it came time to return leftover pavers from a walkway project. After being told over the phone that I could return the excess with my receipt, I loaded 300 pounds of materials into my car. When I arrived, however, Anthony was unexpectedly rude and refused the return, citing a policy about needing a "complete pattern"--something no one explained to me beforehand. Frustrated but civil, I managed to return only the edging stones for $48.11, but instead of refunding the amount to my card, they *charged* me again. When I returned to resolve the issue, I was met with sarcasm: "That's how Harkins makes money." Not funny when you've already spent time, effort, and trust in a local business. Harkins may have quality materials, but the lack of clear communication and professionalism turned what should've been a simple transaction into a frustrating ordeal. Be cautious in your dealings with them.

When we arrived, the man working did not show us which trees were which and didn't initiate service of any kind unless asked. We asked to borrow a saw, which he "thought he might have some in the barn" and then once the tree was cut we tried to shake it out on or own. Then we asked to have it baled, which he hesitantly obliged. Then I asked for some rope, which he gave us a bit and I (a young adult female) tied the tree myself to the car while he stood and watched. The trees themselves are tall, but growing unkept, with grasses and vines growing in them. They are also unshaped. At my city apartment, we had to pull out vines and straw, trim the branches, and today we discovered the tree is infested with aphids that must have hatched once brought into the warm home. Hence, I am writing this review to ask this business to take care of their trees since they are letting who knows what into people's homes and to let customers know to take caution.

I went into Bob's in Manchester yesterday with the intent of purchasing furniture for our new…read moreliving room. All was typical for most of my time browsing, sales rep says hello and introduces themselves and lets us know when we need assistance, all fine. When it came time to purchase and I had made my decision of which furniture to buy ($300 recliner, loveseat, and a chaise), I realized there was not a package deal for the loveseat and chaise in that particular style, only for the sofa and chaise ($999). If I were to purchase a la carte for the loveseat and chaise, they would have been $499 each ($998 total). I asked the sales representative, George if there was anything that could be done to create a package for the loveseat and chaise where I would not be paying the same price as the sofa (it didn't make much sense to me to pay the same price for approx 26in less couch). George and another associate said they probably wouldn't be able to get a package deal for it and all was as is, which is fine, I've worked in sales I know how it goes. They called manager Matteo over to see if something could be worked out. I want to first say, George and the other associate were great, friendly, and helpful and this review is not about them. Matteo, however, was the epitome of a sleezeball salesman in my opinion. While he confirmed there was not a way to create a new package, he gave me some ridiculous excuse for the price stating I was paying for craftsmanship and not material so the difference in size of the couch was a moot point. I disagreed and stated that I was going to shop around and see what else was available in the area. After saying this, Matteo proceeded to make the comment that I would come back to Bob's nonetheless because they have the best prices in the area. This struck me as very arrogant and condescending, and thus I DID take my business elsewhere and made a large purchase at a competitor. While there was nothing wrong with the product, I do not want to give my business to a business that speaks to their customers in such a way.
