Get you in and out in under 10 minutes so they could see the next person. That is all that they cared about. Dr. Spiess has a different approach. He doesn't monitor his Yelp reviews or ask you to leave feedback. Truth is, he doesn't really care how the internet perceives things. He knows that by word of mouth, he will gain new patients. I got lucky and found him under my providers list for Chiropractic care. From the first appointment forward, I knew he cared. I had really good insurance which covered the 30 minute appointment. Even if you don't have insurance that will cover it, seeing him once a month for the cash amount is completely worth it. I walked out every time feeling way better, and cannot state how much I love this man for getting me straightened out.

Not a "pop and go" adjustment, like some do. You don't need to see him 3 times a week for 12 weeks like other chiropractors will tell you. His adjustments are very effective and seem to stay in place longer. If you have pain or health issues, go see him. After my car accident I went for two visits to Dr Kevin. Having never been to a chiropractor I did…read morenot know of the various treatments a chiropractor can give other than "an adjustment" - bone or spine cracking. I've always heard this is the primary treatment offered. Dr Kevin is pleasant and professional. He went over several of the treatments he can offer. He ordered an MRI of my neck bones. He reviewed what the results were of the MRI. I being a nurse, didn't need a lengthy explanation. Informative but more time should have been spent on actual treatment when I was in such pain. I had my cast on my broken arm, in addition. However, after two treatments with a lot of discussion and little actual treatment to ease my acute pain and stiffness only one week after my accident, I was not getting any serious help. Didn't feel any better. I felt Dr. Kevin was hopeful that I would keep coming back so he could do more work with me and of course have repeat business. But driving out for these short 15 minutes appointments was more of a hassle in my opinion when there was little relief. With having to arrange for rides since I'm not driving a car at the present time, I decided not to go back to this chiropractor. When I went to a massage therapist the same week as this initial chiropractic treatment, I learned that some chiropractors focus a lot more on muscle relaxation hands-on techniques in addition to the traditional adjustments. I was referred to other chiropractors who would offer what I was looking for - myofascial release. The massage I got twice in the initial period right after my accident was so therapeutic in easing my pain. I am a strong believer in massage therapy as a therapeutic technique for Muscoskeletal Pain And stress relief. Dr Kevin showed me how he can use a Theragun massager device to relax the neck and back muscles. It's ok. Not great. And definitely not as effective as a real person giving you a real massage on aching muscles. I don't think Dr. Kevin focus as much on this hands-on work which is what I find effective. I've now come to learn from a different chiropractor who is very good with muscle work as well as adjustments, the technique that I seem to favor is called myofascial release. Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion. I would say that the ease of getting appointments and traditional chiropractic approach is what you will find helpful if you come to this business. I would add that Dr. Kevin was kind to show my mom what cold laser therapy can do for joint pain. He gave her a complementary treatment for her knee pain. She did feel some pain relief initially but it wore off after 2 to 3 hours. She decided not to have it again as she would have to pay out of pocket for this treatment. She didn't think it was worth the cost out-of-pocket since the relief was only for a couple hours. It might be more helpful for other patients.

I followed Dr. Stack from Naturally Chiropractic. I've been seeing him off and on for about three…read moreyears. I first started going to him because I was *certain* I had a tumor in my neck. I mean, why else could I not turn my head even a little? He didn't make fun of my irrational thoughts, and after my first visit, I could turn my head and actually check my blind spots while driving! A separate issue was plaguing my legs, so I had to see an orthopedic surgeon. I tested positive for chronic exertional compartment syndrome, but before signing up the invasive surgery, the ortho sent me to a physiatrist. The physiatrist sent me for an MRI of my lower back. His office called me a week later to tell me I had a deteriorated disc, and that I could have a pain shot if I needed one. I didn't. I told Dr. Stack what they said, and he asked if he could see the MRI. I brought him a copy, and he read it to me with me in his office. He explained the seriousness of my condition and suggested I see an orthopedic surgeon he knew of who was also a chiropractor. The point of all this is to say, the physiatrist himself did not call me. His office did not explain the issues with my back. Dr, Stack, however, took the time to read it to me and explain what was going on. He's done that more than once. He is genuinely concerned about his patients' overall health and well-being. Good luck finding any kind of doctor anywhere else who is so dedicated to his patients and his practice. I've also brought my mom and my daughter to see Dr. Stack, and I'd never hesitate to recommend him to anyone else either.

The most important quality that Dr. Stack has is his true care for patients. In previous offices, practitioners performed the same adjustments at every visit, which is what initially drove me to look for a new doctor. After several visits with a well known treatment center, I still felt horrible and was being charged hundreds of dollars for a 20-minute, repetitive, robotic adjustment. Dr. Stack, instead, assesses the needs of every patient to determine the right adjustments; each visit is based on what you've identified as a concern and what he finds during his assessments. Sometimes treatments can last 15 minutes or even up to 25 - but time is not the driver of his care as one usually experiences with doctors who take insurance. How you feel and how your body responds to the adjustments is what determines the time he takes with you and the frequency of your visits. He is also very good at listening to your concerns, answering questions, and making sure you understand what he's doing and why. Besides his deep knowledge of chiropractic care, he is also well-versed regarding overall health and can advise patients on vitamins, supplements and other more natural alternatives for just about any ailment. And if he doesn't know, he'll do the research. He is open and honest about healthcare in general, but also respects that patients have choices in their own care. Many times I've been recommended a procedure, test or pharmaceutical from one doctor and have spoken to him as a gut check. For example, I had to take a strong antibiotic for a kidney infection a few years ago, and he recommended pairing a specific probiotic so as not to upset my gastrointestinal balance. It worked and I'm still taking it! As recently as a week ago, I suffered a severe, 2-day, intensely painful migraine. After receiving an IV injection, I phoned him to see if he could squeeze me in. I barely finished my sentence before he nicely said, "Get here as soon as you can and we'll figure it out." I walked in without an appointment, was taken to one of the treatment rooms, given a pillow and ice pack and just waited for him to finish with his other patient. I've worked with a fair amount of doctors since living in WNY and Dr. Stack by far delivers some of the best and most sincere care in comparison to other doctors. He works hard to continue learning and expanding his knowledge in the field, is open to sharing his treatment plans, how to talk with your other specialists about integrated approaches to treatment, and overall making sure you are living well.
