When she asked about insurance, she was told the office would bill the insurance... and they were not transparent or disclosing that they were not in-network. Standard line is, we'll submit your insurance and you owe the remainder; however, no where in the information my daughter was told did the staff tell her they were OUT-of-network, were NOT a preferred provider or that they were NOT an in-network provider for any insurance companies. Dr. Pritts has many positive reviews, but my daugher was passed on to the associate dentist who is inexperienced and rough. I attempted to resolve the lack of transparancy with their billing with the practice, but they were unwilling to acknowlege the concern suggesting unrealistic options that a college student can't afford.

Our Daughter had 3 cavities filled/refilled. I had 9 refills and 1 new filling put in. The cleaning person is quick, efficient and wonderful. All the Dentists are careful and have a great bedside manner. I needed enough to knock an elephant out and was accommodated on each of my 5 filling visits. I have never had such a great experience with a dentist's office in my lifetime of 58 age years. I had a ton of trauma as a child with a childhood dentist like PTSD afraid. I have been to 2 other dentist offices which were great as an adult, but this one tops all of them as great. I am grateful that we get to come to this dentist. Everyone in the front billing office is so organized answers all my 100s of questions, and always bends over backwards to ensure we get into all our appointments in an insurance timely manner. Once we got in the back it was a different story. The first time we went was on a Wednesday because my 3 year old had a toothache. The lady that took us back was also very sweet. They sent us straight to the dentist whom does the OR visits (imagine that). I told him what condition I have on my teeth he had no idea what it was and could barley say it (I have a disease that causes no enemal). I was telling him I thought my daughter had the same thing and it could be why her tooth was hurting. He looked in her mouth gave an anti biotic and told me he would book her for the OR. I bit extreme with not taking an x-ray or anything else. So, I got the script went home started giving it to her on Friday her face swelled up (she had an abscess). So I called back and told them and that she needed to be seen and I wanted a different dentist. So they sent me to a female. When we walked up to the window to check in the front desk lady's said "they will do whatever you want to help her". Well that sounded great rather than just throwing a 3 year old in the OR. We go back and they want to take some x-rays which is understandable. Well instead of getting a small thing to put in her mouth they get an adult size one and shove it in her mouth and gag her. Well of course after that she was DONE. We asked the doctor if she could give her some nitrous to calm her down so that she would set and could get her tooth fixed. The doctor said we "typically" don't do that but "sometimes". And then sent us to get a different x-ray. Yet again after being gaged my daughter was over it. My husband and I then asked again. Can our daughter get some nitrous so that she will be calm amd you can work. This time the anwser was NO they couldn't and wouldn't because of COVID. well another person piped up and said yeah and the doctor who did the nitrous doesn't work here anymore we would have to get it approved. (If you have nitrous in a dentist office the dentist office is ventilated for it). So the next thing this dentist said was we will book an OR to be put under. At this point my husband my daughter and I were done. We left and I called else where. As soon as I got off the phone northeast called me back and told me I needed to go pick up the script the doctor called in so my daughters throat didn't swell shut. Knowing my daughter had infection and needed help they should have done everything in there power to do so. There nonchalant attitudes are annoying. And each time you go in before even being seen they have there mind made up as to what they are going to do and that is it. Don't take anyone you love here. There are much better options. Just save your time and your insurances money.

Got us in even though we weren't patients and took care of my son's cracked tooth. They stayed late on a Friday night to make sure my son wasn't in pain over the weekend. We transferred to their office now because they took care of us when no one else would.
