Located on the busy stretch of road fronting Puregold, Paume's is easy to overlook. That would be a shame, as this place offers a selection of food and drinks that is generally higher in quality than those of many of its neighbors. While the price is correspondingly higher as well, it still isn't at the level that I would deem expensive.
For the former, sandwiches and pastas are the primary attractions. While the available choices of the former type aren't notably wide, the origin variety more than makes up for it. There are definitely a lot more pasta options, and if the sandwiches are a good baseline then the noodle dishes are pretty tasty as well.
Coffee-wise, Paume's offers pour-over and French Press brewing methods. While they do this before serving, the taste remains at the appropriate level, suggesting that the steps were done properly. There is a little table and two chairs in the parking area, but I don't really think this counts as a smoking area. read more
