I called Oscar and asked him to come out and give us an estimate to clean our (very dirty, 16-year-old) patio pavers in Santa Monica. He surprised me by actually keeping us carefully posted on the time he'd arrive-- even texting when his job took longer, and he'd be a little late. There is no comparison with how the pavers looked when his crew finished and the way they looked after a couple of previous cleanups. I appreciated that Oscar didn't "oversell" how they'd look; no, they don't look new but, honestly, they look nearly new-- sparkling clean, with the lovely paver color coming through once again. They were a mess before! Now they look gorgeous. His crew of two other men cleaned and sealed them-- good for about 3 years. I am very grateful. This guy isn't the cheapest in town. But I'm certain he is the best! And, based on what other cleaners could do with our pavers, it is like comparing apples and oranges to compare him to the other guys. He is worth every penny. I had such a hard time finding a company who worked with pavers and I am so happy I found Paverwash! I had them take a look at my back patio. The guy showed up on time, answered all of my questions and even sent me the estimate the same day! It only took their crew about a day to do the job and I am truly blown away at what an outstanding job they did. I'll be honest, not all of the stains came out completely, but it's totally understandable. They even told me during the estimate that might happen so they were upfront and honest from the beginning. About a year ago I got my pavers installed by my neighbor's pool guy and at the time, he recommended to not apply a sealer. I recently went to my coworker's house to watch a game and noticed that he also has pavers in his driveway, except his were sealed. After seeing his really nice pavers, I decided to have mine cleaned and sealed. When Paver Wash came to meet with me, they showed me that my pavers also had some missing joint sand. Not only were they able to clean and seal my pavers, but they also helped stabilize them to be strong again. They did an amazing and professional job. About 7 years ago we put in beautiful new pavers for a large back patio. Since then we have done several home improvement projects including a home addition, an entirely new patio trellis, roof, siding, and landscaping. All that work took a major toll on our pavers and they looked like they were 25 years old not almost new...we were quite sad when our home addition was done because the patio pavers and walkway was the highlight of the backyard and now it looked terrible, standing out like a sore thumb against our new addition and remodel. I figured there wasn't much we could do unless I wanted to spend a lot of money on another paving contractor to come back out and replace and repair them. I randomly saw an add on instagram for paver wash a few months after moving back into our home. Oscar the owner came out to look at the job and give me and estimate. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly! He actually spent 8 years working for the company that installed our pavers initially, before starting his paver wash company. His pricing was very fair and much less than having a contractor come out to re-do things. Oscar told us to trust him...there was no need to have a contractor re-do areas, etc. that his process would get all the stains and dirt out and the new sand would even everything out and then his enhancing sealer would bring the color back. After some unsuccessful attempts to remove stubborn efflorescence off of my pavers for several weeks, I turned to Oscar from Paver Wash. I'm really glad I did. He came out with his equipment and did his thing. It took him multiple attempts and 2 days total but he was able to remove all the stains from my pavers and they look as good as new. We had a really good experience with Paver Wash and highly recommend this company. I was given an estimate over the phone based on the square footage of the pool deck that needed to be cleaned. Oscar was great to work with --completely upfront and honest about what could be done for the stains that marred the pavers. He texted pictures of his progress during the whole process. I completed the form on his website and then received a call to discuss the scope of the job and the various options we had. Pricing is transparent, which I appreciate since it means no surprises. He worked with a face mask and communicated with me via text throughout the process.
