i can say i did enjoy my stay but i can also say that the lack of care is present. i didn't see a doctor for a whole 24 hour period being a waste of time and once i did see one it was only for less than 15 minutes , yes i got on my medication but how much help am i actually getting my walking around the halls all day and watching others fight over the remote. some of the staff seemed to have a problem with one of the black gay male there and treated him very differently for no reason at all. i can say that there are abt 4 technicians who need to find a different job read more

The communication is terrible at this place. You leave messages for a call back following an incident and they ignore it. If you can get anyone to answer the phone, you may wait ten minutes when it gets transferred. Trying to talk to a patient is difficult as the times are so limited and no one will pick up the phone. Then when you can talk, the yelling is so loud that you or the person youre talking to cant hear. Medication changes are made with no consultation with the parent or guardians and no discussion of the changes when they are discharged. Avoid this place as a placement for your child. read more

I personally think this place should be shutdown. It is for one thing beyond filthy and rundown for starters. There was visible dust all over the floors. The sheets on the beds were bare then and had permanent stains in them. There was belonging left in our room in the cubicles of a previous male patient. So, that was a red flag that they didn't adequately sanitize or clean the rooms in between patients. The dayroom where we ate breakfast had syrup all over the tables. We asked several staff if we could please have a rag to wipe them off with. I personally asked for three days at least 3 different ones and nobody cleaned them. One patient continually picked her nose until it bled and then wiped it all over the table. I reported it to staff and they still didn't wipe the table. But, we were supposed to attend the groups and sit at these tables? They also let a patient who appeared to not have showered for days touch and help them lay out our breakfast food on one particular morning. This goes against health standards. Now for the safety issues. I was on the second floor unit. I was told the third floor was for the more serious patients. So, I can't understand while the facility didn't remove several of the seriously aggressive patients to that floor. The place is seriously understaffed and they have no security on the floor. While i was there I was on the phone in the hallway checking in with my family. Several patients were shouting and cussing at another patient. Then one of them shoved my roommate into me hurting my shoulder and stomping on my foot. Staff did nothing to control the group of patients heckling the other patient. Then about 10 minutes after. One of the patients runs into another ones room and drags her out of her bed and stomps on her head. The whole crowd of patients went running along with the staff into the room. I was then down by the dayroom after ending my call. I along with two other patients shut the door and we barricaded ourselves in there due to be scared of all the chaos. It was at least twenty minutes that we were in there. Not one staff member checked on our safety. How we were emotionally after witnessing such violence. We finally opened the door and saw the police and asked them if it was safe for us to come out. They finally said we could. Staff never once said a thing to us. Next day I called the patient advocate line. She returned my call the next day at the nurses station. A staff member handed me the phone so evidently they identified me and knew who I was. This lady had the audicity in a mental health facility to ask me to state my full name and address over the phone. This is my knowledge a direct hippa violation and a huge safety risk. Who wants a stranger overhearing where one lives. Especially, one who at the time is mentally unstable. I did report to the privacy officer my concerns after discharge. They covered up for themselves saying they had to ask such questions to confirm my identity? Which is crazy. The staff who gave me the phone identified me. She could've asked them for my medical number if needed and protected my privacy. There were several patients right around the desk who could overhear my entire conversation. I told the patient advocate I felt unsafe and all she did was take my name and address and said nothing else. Next day another disturbance again happened on the unit. I again was scared and got on the hallway phone and called 9-1-1 and told them I was frightened. They refused to come and said staff had to call them if needed. I also as a patient was told I would have a case manager. I talked to one briefly when first admitted for less then 5 minutes if even that long. They never set up any type of plan or anything for me the whole time of my stay. The Dr. saw me daily for about a minute. No plans for care were ever set up by anyone. So, I got from my stay was increased anxiety and fear when I already was having suicidal ideation and that was why I was placed there. I hope nobody has to go through what I did at this place. The facility is horrible. My room and bathroom were dirty. My medicine was kept from me with endless promises of "Later, Later". The nurses denied me my books, and my prescribed shampoo for my scalp irritation. This place only made my issues worse, fix your facilities, helpers, and most importantly put yourself in your patients perspective. If you were struggling and you got a horrible room, had an itchy head, were denied medicine and given unauthorized medicine, how would you feel? Never come here. read more

First of all, I am 76 years old, assigned male at birth but am now legally a female. On a Monday evening I had a thought about suicide and a plan popped into my head. I've had suicidal ideation daily since I was 10. I have two safety plans in place, which I followed to the letter. Out of responsibility to the assisted living center where I live with my wife of 53 years, I informed the Wellness Director the next day. She asked me to get an evaluation at the Carle Emergency Room. I drove myself to the ER and spoke for about two hours with a psychologist/social worker who said that I should be clear to return home. The admitting doctor (a DO, not an MD PH.d) determined that I needed to go to the inpatient psych ward at the Pavilion in Champaign. Tuesday about midnight I arrived at the Pavilion and was given the choice of voluntarily signing myself in for five days plus weekends and holidays or being involuntarily signed in for longer. I signed myself in voluntarily. The air temperature was about 68 - 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The staff wore long sleeved sweaters or sweatshirts the patients were given short sleeved paper scrubs. I asked for a second blanket and was told "That's against the rules!" but they raised the thermostat in my room to 75. I had received my License to Preach in 1971 while assigned with the US Army in West Berlin. I also had a week long course in Psychological Warfare at a SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) school in 1997. I have been to several other inpatient psych wards in my past but the Pavilion stands out. If you attend all Groups, you get to go to the cafeteria for lunch and have a soda! The floor of the cafeteria is so filthy you can't tell what color the floor tiles are supposed to be. No one wipes the tables between "diners" so you eat in someone else's mess. My meal was served with a soup ladle so I got one Tablespoon of green beans and three Tablespoons of cooking water slopped onto my plate. I refused to go to the cafeteria for meals. My food was brought to me, somewhat cold, and often without any utensils, so I ate most of my food with my fingers. I asked to be allowed to conduct a worship service in the ward on Sunday which was granted for anyone who wanted to attend. Monday was the obvious beginning of psych warfare. "You will probably go home today." The bait was dangled. That evening, "No you're not!" Tuesday was a repeat of Monday. By Tuesday evening my morale was pretty low but I know that if I said or did anything, my stay would be extended. SERE school taught "NEVER, EVER, let the bastards win!" Wednesday morning I was told that I would definitely get to go home. There are some problems with some of the staff, I was asked to name names and I did, but most of the staff are reasonable. They are working a rough job as best they can. I recommended the good staff members during my out-processing. The Pavilion needs work at the upper echelons. Many of the employees need to learn to offer care and respect to ALL patients. I suggested to the Public Health District that they visit the kitchen and cafeteria. The rates are too high. I've been to better psych wards that cost less. All in all I'd day try not to go there but there are some good, caring staff there too. read more

TW; Some mild sexual abuse, be warned I would give this place 0 stars if I would, during the pandemic when I was 11 I had been terrible mentally, and you know what, I came out EVEN WORSE, My first night was terrifying because I was so scared without my mother and stuffed animals and stuff, my mom had packed me clothes and stuffed animals, and you wanna take a wild guess on what they did, they didn't even give me the bag until halfway through my 8-day visit, I was screaming, crying for my mom, and THE STAFF straight up said to my face "you don't want everyone to hate you and think you are a weakling here" this was around Halloween keep that in mind, now the teacher, they were pretty good, just I didn't get taught much about managing my emotions, because GET THIS, I had therapy AND COULDNT EVEN TALK TO MY THERAPIST WITHOUT BEING RIGHT IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY, that was a terrible start to my visit, then I got moved to a proper room, which was okay, the shower was terrible, there were hairs who knows where they came from all over the shower, I couldn't shower comfortably because I was forced to have a "buddy" and obviously pairing a mentally ill person like me to a creep like them wouldn't end well, he said, "can I touch your pp" and I was terrified, staff somewhat listened to me, I was scared for my life because of that kid, now the rest of my visit went sort of smoothly, but they didn't really teach me anything about mental health, THE WHOLE REASON I WAS THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE, I could only talk to my mom for five minutes a day and it was ALSO IN FRONT OF EVERYONE, now my final days everything came crumbling down, I came down with a severe cold from something I ate there, and they didn't even give me medicine or anything to remedy the sickness, they GET THIS! ISOLATED ME IN A ROOM FOR MY 2 FINAL DAYS, they still brought me their usual crappy meals, I slept on one of those bagged beds and staff didn't even talk to me, I felt isolated, imprisoned, depressed, and alone, I was at my lowest point yet. I felt like a witch in old Salem, that may be a little exaggerated but it truly felt like that. Then they got the call, I was getting discharged, I was excited, of course, super depressed and sick, I got my nightly medicine and stuff, but when I finally saw my mom and dog, I felt freed from a chain, I have been so scared to go back there ever since this time, I hope this was my only time in a mental hospital because it's getting even worse, and worst of all, I can't talk to anyone about it out of fear of going back to this HELL. I am genuinely terrified, this story does not have a happy ending, I came in sad, came out with various other mental illnesses and depression. read more

This is the worst medical facility that I've had the misfortune of experiencing. It's very understaffed with rude nurses and techs. This is not an environment cohesive to healing. The techs and nurses are extremely judgmental and full of distain toward patients who are who are fragile to begin with. Few of them wore masks and when they did their noses were not covered. Someone over the pa system made several announcements daily for staff to mask up. But the masks do not stay on for long after that. The facility is filthy and uncomfortable. The floors are dirty and sticky. The rooms have dust bunnies and dirt and dust caked along the floor boards throughout the facility. Its unsanitary as well. One of the techs opened up the top of the community water cooler and stuck her hand and cup inside to scoop out some ice for herself. I was so very disgusted that I resorted to drink water out of my bathroom sink in fear of being sickened by the contamination. It's very cold and there is no comfortable furniture to sit or sleep on. I was sent home wearing a hospital gown because my clothing that I arrived in went missing. They had no scrubs under a size 3X in stock and I had to drive for two hours home wearing a hospital gown on a very cold day. The reason I gave one star is because the doctors practice good medicine. They are the only positives in this mess. The CEO should be ashamed of himself for running such a disorganized facility. read more

Stay Away...Run, Run, RUN. My Goal is to make sure that no patient is ever treated in this manner ever again. As a mental health advocate, I am appalled that places like this are in existence. Jails have more services, amenities, and compassion for the mentally ill than this place. I was held against my will for nearly 30 days until a judge granted my freedom. The facility is dirty, woefully understaffed, disorganized, and under resourced. The admission's team lies to get patient in the door by telling them ANYTHING they want to hear. For example, I was told that my stay would only be between 3-5 days. I suffered from suicidal ideation. I never hurt myself (or anyone) or attempted to hurt myself. Yet, the incompetent excuse of a psychiatrist (Dr. Repetto) told that I needed long term hospitalization. I was kept from my children and forced to miss Christmas with them. Male techs were authorized to watch females shower and use the toilet. This place wanted to hold me for 90 days and collect from my high paying commercial plan. All the while 3 doctors , multiple nurses and techs believed I was stable and should be discharged. The judge heard the case and told their counsel that he would not want to be institutionalized in the Pavilion that long. Why would anyone seek help if they were going to treated like this? I have been traumatized by this experience and I pray that this message convinces someone to seek help elsewhere. read more

They did nothing about it.. I called to ask why she hadn't been treated and " Brittany" her so called case worker told me they did treat it. When I asked Brittany why would my daughter lie about this, she told me because my daughter was trying to get a rise out of me..My daughter is a mother of 2 small children. She is very smart. They tried holding my daughter another 5 days... But after me bringing attention to the kidney infection and the fact I knew about many other infractions in her unit they let her go immediately. Even though she was supposed to be held till the following Monday.. Patients having intercourse, tv privileges being removed after a patient inserting the batteries their anus, I spoke with her case worker who informed me none of which were true and actually lied to me and said my daughter was tested and treated for a UTI . She was NOT!!!! Btw this case worker refused to give me her name only claiming to be Brittney.. I'm pretty sure that's not her name. This place was filthy. The better your insurance the longer you will stay. My advice is, if you do have a loved one there and you want them out. Have every one you know call and threaten the hell out of them to let them go. It worked for us. This place is worse than prison. And I have no idea how It hasn't been shut down. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! NEGATIVE STARS OVERALL! If you are looking for a place to send a family member so that you are able to just wash your hands of that person and not ever worry about them again then this might be the place for you. If you care at all about your loved one please research another place to send them before choosing the pavilion. We can only speak of the adult unit since our experience was limited to this area. We had a nightmare of an experience with the pavilion when our 19-year-old daughter was admitted voluntarily. Please remember that just because you sign in voluntarily does not mean you can leave voluntarily. We were told that once the patient signs themselves in,they no longer have any rights as a civilian only rights as a patient. Even though our daughter signed a release for the facility to give us any information we asked, it wasn't that easy. Our daughter was admitted on Thursday afternoon she was not seen by the psychiatrist until Friday. The psychiatrist asked my daughter not to elaborate on her answers and to please answer his questions appropriately with yes or no. How can he give her a diagnosis this way? Right away they prescribed Prozac for my daughter. When she asked for an alternative like meditation, essential oils, or just talking with someone instead of a pill, there was none. We were told by staff members that if she declines to take the medicine it will look bad for her. The pavilion could use the fact that she is not taking the medicine to potentially keep her longer, stating that it looks like she doesn't want to help. Please also understand that during the time of her deciding to take the pill or not she still was not given a diagnosis from her psychiatrist. How can you prescribe medicine without a diagnosis? Visiting hours here are very limited. Everything is on lockdown and very secret. If your adult loved one is a patient here. I was told that you are never allowed to speak with one of the doctors. We spoke with other visitors to see their loved ones and many were having the same experiences that we were. Some worse because when their loved one was admitted, the pavilion changed their medicine around making it worse for that patient. Beware of Jessica the patient advocate. She is not an advocate for any patients she is literally only an advocate for the pavilion. If you need help ask for Neena or Kim they are both directors. read more

I gave 1 star because of the VERY FEW staff who were actually there to give care and not collect a paycheck. Also because you can't select zero stars. To be admitted to a mental health facility for depression, and the experience to make you suicidal is atrocious. Most hospitals will put you on a 72 hour hold; this farce of a facility puts you in for five days, and their "weekends don't count" policy, patients will most likely be held for seven days. No regard for jobs, children or pets left waiting. I was admitted on a Wednesday, and by Saturday, I was considering eating styrofoam just to be taken to a real hospital. Most of the staff in charge of monitoring your care are unnecessarily rude and one even referred to us as "inmates". You'd think it couldn't be any worse.... until meal times. I wouldn't feed that garbage to my dog. Every day on the menu, you're promised at least some kind of dessert, but when asked about it, the cook snapped at us and said it was only "if they wanted to make it". $1,400 a day billed to your insurance for $10 a day treatment. All in all, if you actually care about the person you're thinking of admitting to this place, DON'T. This place isn't a treatment facility, its a prison full of second rate staff that try to cause mental breakdowns. After surviving my 9 day "voluntary" stay, I am still in shock at some of the treatment I received. This was my first experience with a mental health facility. I had severe depression due to a pending divorce. I had no idea people were housed and treated this way. The place is very dirty and very understaffed. It is ridiculously expensive. The rules changed daily. There was no individual therapy provided. All therapy was given in the form of a group of people who's problems ranged from drugs, schizophrenia, psychosis, and alcoholism. All patients shared the same halls, day room, meals, etc. Many of the "group sessions" are conducted by untrained staff with no education and merely read from scripts. Many therapy sessions were canceled during my stay. Violent patients are allowed to scream, fight, and terrorize in the hallways. Older patients are ignored. The nurses' station door slams loudly at all times of day and night. You had to beg for help with medications and it took hours or days to get a response on any issue. At one point, the patients were without water because there was no extra staff to fill the water cooler. The housekeeping staff is lazy and does the bare minimum. There was blood on the floor the entire time I was there. It was freezing cold and you are only given one sliver of a pillow and one small thin blanket. Please do not allow anyone you love to be admitted here. I will be years recovering from my experience. This is the first time I have ever left a review on the internet. There are so many people that are mentally sick and need compassion and empathy. They will not find that at the Pavilion. read more

Tried three times to give me another patients medicine. Medicine that, judging by the description on the paper they tried to get me to sign to take it, would have been dangerous for me. Three times! I would have just let it go and not left a review, but they also apparently don't know how to use a fax machine. I'm at risk for LOSING MY JOB because they still haven't faxed over the papers certifying I needed to be there to my place of employment so I'm at risk of having my leave of absence denied and terminated due to attendance. No need for us to get or ID checked, and no need for all of the safety precautions when it comes to taking away our phones and other supplies. I was admitted here involuntarily a month ago on 12/01/2014 for suicidal ideation after spending three days in the ICU. When you first get there, you're stripped of your clothes and given the task of showering. You then have to sit in hospital gowns until your clothes are washed. You're not required to leave your room without clothing, or expected at groups for two days after your arrival, which I was thankful for because I didn't want to spend hours in front of strangers half naked. For me, getting my clothes washed only took an hour or two, but for others, it took days. You eat breakfast at 8am, lunch at 11:45 and supper at 5:45. After you've been there for 48 hours and are not deemed a threat, they allow you to go downstairs to the lunch room (supervised) to eat for lunch and supper. It's ten times better than getting your meal upstairs. Downstairs, you have your pick of beverages, and there's even a salad bar. The staff are okay, though when they're stressed you can feel it coming off of them in waves, and they tend to be less friendly when it comes to that. There are few of the staff whom I actually liked, and fewer who tried their best to help you. It once took seven hours to get one Ibuprofen from the nurse. There are also a lot of people who had angry outbursts, who screamed so loud it could break your eardrums, and people who would beat on walls for long periods of times. No one did anything about it. You have hour groups seven times a day, and most of it is redundant things you know, things that are common sense, or things you can learn on the internet. Though some of them are good, and sometimes it was nice to share your stories with the group. There was one man who came in every day at one, who I told I was an atheist to, and he flat out said, "I don't believe in Atheism." Some of the things he talked about were pretty good, and he's a smart guy, but he's pretty out there and rude. This one lady was crying during group, and he forced her to leave, not once, but twice, because "crying isn't tolerated in group." Being there for ten days, I had made a couple of friends. One of them tended to cry when she got emotional, and on the day she found out I and our other friend were leaving and she was going to be alone, she started (silently) crying in the cafeteria. When I said silently crying, I mean her eyes were read and a few tears were running down her face. She was forced back upstairs, because she wasn't "allowed" to cry in the cafeteria. In fact, they even told her that she could go home when she could stop crying. So basically, you get told that crying is natural and healthy, and yet, if you do it in front of staff, you get an extended stay. So it's not so much the staff that helped me, but the friends I had made. I would have went insane in that place if it weren't for them. read more

I just returned home from a very, very long day of trying to get my son into detox and rehab. I spent the night in the ER and only had a few hours of sleep. The hospital couldn't help me, no rehabs would take my son, and I am all out of hope. For five years, I have tried to get help for him. I've been asked why he hasn't been helped yet. I'll tell you why...there is no help for people who are addicted to drugs or have mental health issues. My son was a healthy, happy, young man with a bright future ahead of him. He never drank or did drugs. He worked full time and commuted to college every day, and soon graduated with a Bachelor's degree in sociology, with a minor in criminal justice. He went to work at his first job, began having sleeping issues, and was prescribed benzodiazepines by a physician. He soon became addicted, and we have endured a life of hell ever since. Today, we were turned down by a couple of rehabs...Pavillion being the second one. All they care about is profit. We were told that upon being rejected. We spent all day trying. I am running on 2 hours sleep. We can send a lunar space module to Mars to drive around on the surface of the planet and take photos. But in 5 years, I can't get any help for my son's mental health and substance abuse issues. We've almost lost him numerous times over. There is no hope left for me. The people at Pavillion could not help, nor could anyone else over the years. It's all about prescribing pharmaceutical drugs and getting people addicted. It's all about making money. The standard of medical practice is to keep people sick so they will return and keep up the profits. I just returned to a table full of mail...medical bills for which we can no longer help my 28 year old pay. He can't keep a job long enough to get insurance. No one will look at him twice because he doesn't have money or insurance. No one will help us. My hands are in shackles because he is an adult. So, I am home and taking a chance for another drug overdose or seizure, or even worse, a suicide attempt. I retired from teaching 5 years ago and have been trying to get him help. I sat in waiting rooms all day. I'm hungry, disappointed, dejected and hopeless that he will ever get the help he needs. Yes, good luck if you have a substance abuse problem in America...and especially in Central Illinois. I continue to pray because that's all I have left. Pavillion disappointed me today. From a frequent-flyer, I have been to this horrid place many many times, Yes I said frequent flyer, I was going in for Self-Harm issues, depression, suicidal ideations, and anxiety and a personality disorder. I have been there many times throughout 2014-2016...About my fourth time there i began noticing a change in staff and how certain group leaders would act toward me, just because i was there not even four months ago, They really don't care about your health, or how you are improving. I was there for a month once, after i even signed the five-day release they claimed i wasn't well enough or safe to go out on my own. Case Managers did an amazing job of caring for there patients, I was eventually to old for the teenager wing so i was put on the adult unit which by the way is a nightmare. Staff told me i was doing things for attention, that wasn't really mentally ill. I was judged for needing help. One staff told me I was killing myself the wrong way and that i should of done it right a long time ago. Which by the way i did report to the head boss of the Pav. But, nothing was done about it, because of my opinion didn't matter. i had no say. I was the one making it up, but clearly, the whole group heard it. When other people didnt care like having a break down of any type nobody would care for that person just let them cry in their room for hours, or if someone was having an episode with paranoia or schizophrenia. Only a few nurses truly cared. After 2016 i stopped going to the pav and went to Presence who are way better and understanding and taking care of there people. read more

On 5/21/14, I was notified that the Pavillion was holding someone against her will. The patient's father came to see me. After being admitted to see the patient (1.25 hours after the father and I arrived at the facility), and her accepting me as her attorney, I asked to see the records of her admission, and was told I needed to ask for specific individual records. After reviewing the intake, and being told it was a voluntary admission, I asked to see the admission form that she had signed. I also made both staff that were there (including the risk manager) that she was incapacitated at the time from taking doctor prescribed Ativan (her first dose following the prescription), and that her signature was not valid. Staff then left the room and refused to let her or I see any further records, saying that they had 30 days for "processing." They stated that she would stay for five days following her request for discharge, ignoring my assertion that the statutory language was for discharge "As soon as appropriate, no more than five days." She was supposedly admitted for past suicidal ideation (gained from an "interview" where she was not competent), and still somehow was rated a high suicide risk. It is my opinion that she is being kept AGAINST HER WILL solely for the purpose of padding their bill. read more

This place is a torture chamber. At one point a staff member, I think his name was "Colby ", but I am unsure locked me in my room without saying anything only to come back a little while later to unlock my door. This same staff member refused to let me look at my lab work even though I told them I was a nurse and wanted to see my labs from 3 days prior bc my blood glucose was high in the hospital after I was sent there after having a nervous breakdown related to being bullied at work by what I can only describe as a sociopath. At one point I asked if I could have cereal for a snack bc that is what other people were carrying around eating and this same staff member refused and stated my only choice was chips or raisins and when another client there ask why they were treating me this way, the nurse stated "you don't understand the situation", They also misdiagnosed me stating I had bipolar when after leaving went to a different hosp to be diagnosed with PTSD which can look similar to bipolar symptoms. On day two I asked to use to phone bc I wanted to leave and go to a different place and the staff refused stating "you signed stating you have to stay 5 days" I had stated that I was voluntary and could leave whenever I wanted, but they refused and I was at that point refused to use the phone system. All this place wants to do is lie and put you on medication to mess you up more and mess with you in other areas while you are there so they can keep you longer and torture you. I might add that this place is also for rehab and on my way out the door the billing lady stated, "you will have to pay (over) 500 a month in order to get this bill paid off in the next yr", I'm like why would I even be worried about that, I have to get home and get better, she then stated they could garnish my credit cards. I have no idea why any of this would make any sense at all. Like I stated this place s a torture chamber for people who need help and obviously can not get it from here. I might add that they don't want you to discuss religion or the fact that you believe in Jesus bc it's taboo. God is real and is the only reason I survived this horrible place. read more

STAY AWAY! My sister-in-law is there now, and ever since she was admitted it has been a nightmare. From the moment she went in, another patient was antagonizing her, and eventually attacked her. Though the incident was reported, nothing was ever done about it. Later, a group therapy teacher allowed the group to personally attack her during the session, calling her names and making her feel like garbage in the place she was supposed to be getting better. On Christmas, they wouldn't let me come to see her, despite the fact that I was on her visitors' form. The real kicker is that now, when we were instructed to call her case manager today regarding her release in a few days, my husband called 3 times and their mother called twice, both leaving messages every time they called, and when my husband called the last time, he was told that she had just left for the day (and would be gone until after my sister is scheduled to be released).
