And I say that to say this, this type of compassion and commitment is not everywhere especially for Pediatric patients. My child and I were recently transported from Riverside Hospital to Carle Pediatric Intensive Care Unit due to no pediatric intensive care department within the facility of Riverside hospital. Transferred was an hour and a half way and it was a MUST and urgent care! . Due to weather changes and the winter's season, inevitable the viruses and FLU has knocked at our door once more. In the best care of Doctor Rosado and Doctor Tseng and their Amazing Staff. While my child had the best combinations of Pediatric care and Respiratory Therapy Medicine they both tackled the issue rather quickly and practically. Everyone single one of the staffing had compassion, kindness, supportiveness, tenderness and very thorough and knowledgeable of Asthmatic patients. They were understanding and treated my little one like their own. So much love was given to my little one. Carle Foundation even have a department called Child Life, which helped my child out emotionally by still being able to be in control of her situation and still being able to be a kid. She was able to still color, draw, legos, play room for the kids, puzzles, board games, play doh, books for reading just just to make a few things. Anything to keep her mind off of things and positive reinforcements. The ChildLife department was amazing shout out to Anna and Nikki!. We were definitely in the right place and right care! My family and I could not have done this without the loving family of Carle Foundation Hospital and we will forever be grateful. We stayed a long 5 days. With amazing Angels. I was seen in the ED for abdominal pain on 7/24/2026, after having CC refer me. After getting…read morethrough the triage, I had blood work done per EMT. I then was given a bed against the wall in front of a busy Central Staffing area. Not only was this terrifying, but what about HIPPA laws? A FNP came and said "We are waiting for CT to come get you". I was not informed that this test had been ordered. I have PTSD, and the noise was "triggering me". I stopped a RN and told him that and he said, "I wish I could do something", but did nothing, and I continued to lay there without any help. (I was in the ED alone). Then when I was put into a room with two other patients, I was left with NO CALL BUTTON, No way to get assistance! The ONLY reason I came to the ED, was that I needed something for my severe nausea, and CC would not prescribe anything. I was finally given Zofran for my nausea after a while in the ED. I have been a long standing patient of Carle's and was extremely disheartened by the poor level of care all around me! This was not an isolated experience! Return to CARLE ED, only if absolutely left with no other options! I hope this review helps other to demand for proper care when seen in the ED.

Friendly staff, plenty of free parking, super clean facility, organized, running on time, and all very welcoming. The therapists are well-trained, dedicated, specialized, and caring. Each staffer that I have met has been willing to share their knowledge, in a patient and compassionate manner. This team is something! The warm-water therapy pool is beautiful. The pediatric gyms and treatment spaces are so clean and well-outfitted with new high quality toys, therapy equipment, and other materials for the kids to get to interact with. It's just something they have in place to make you think they care about the patients. Christy Clinic's PL is excellent. They will hold a doc or reg employees, accountable. They will try to gaslight you into thinking your concerns are wrong and not valid. Sadly, the aforementioned doctor, Dr. Jedd, is still working as a therapist. I saved all our messages and the PL ignored the context except for 3 sentences that she thought would gaslight and patronize me into thinking I was wrong. Appalling and disgusting behavior.

I got a lawyer to handle all of my billing issues, and while in negotiations with Pro Ambulance, the company sent me to a Collections Agency. My lawyer paid the bill immediately, within the week, but Pro Ambulance never told the Collections Agency! I am still fighting to clear my credit and its February 27, 2016! I have contacted the Collections Agency three times and they told me to submit proof of payment to them directly since Pro Ambulance won't. This company is wildly incompetent! I would seriously suggest calling a cab in the event of an emergency. You will regret using this ambulance service.
