We were visiting the area for only a week (all the way from NJ) and wanted to arrange care for our dog so we could spend some time exploring and hiking. We first tried to book online, but were unable to complete the reservation. Rather than giving up, we went directly to the location hoping someone could help us. The employee working there was new and understandably wasn't familiar with the booking procedures. We also happened to meet the owner's husband in the parking lot, but he wasn't able to provide the information we needed either. We were eventually given the manager's business card and told to contact her directly. We called the manager twice with no answer and also sent a text message explaining what we needed. We never received a response--not even a quick message acknowledging our inquiry. That was the most frustrating part of the experience. We completely understand that employees can be new and that owners and managers can be busy. What we don't understand is why, after trying to book online, making the effort to visit the business in person, calling twice, and sending a text, nobody could take a moment to respond. For a pet-care business, communication and reliability are extremely important. If a business is unable to accommodate a customer, a simple "Sorry, we're unable to help" would have been perfectly acceptable. Completely ignoring a potential customer after multiple attempts to reach out is not. Since we were only in the area for a week, we couldn't waste more time waiting for a response and had to find another option. Thankfully, we found a wonderful sitter who was responsive, accommodating, and took excellent care of our dog. We can't comment on the actual quality of their pet care because we were never able to get that far. However, based solely on our experience trying to become a customer, the communication and customer service were very unprofessional and left a very poor impression.

It made me very nervous to take my pups to someone new, as they've only ever gone to one groomer back in San Jose. Our show dogs beautiful coat was completely shaved off which they did not have permission to do. They claim our dog was matted which was a lie. They most likely washed her without brushing her out first which can cause matting. Bouviers are supposed to have the ears shaved tightly and they left longer hair on the ears and forgot to trim her nails. Basically they butchered our dogs grooming and now we will have to cancel all her spring dog shows because it'll take 6+ months to grow her coat back! Unacceptable. I cannot recommend this place and will not be returning.
