I disagreed. We got online to search for a self serve dog wash and ran across Filthy Bitches. Let's be honest, the name of the business was one of the reasons I was sold (the other reviews helped, too). We arrived and we're greeted by Heather, the owner who is just as sweet as can be. She showed me how to use all of the equipment and suggested shampoo and conditioner for my boy. Since we were the only customer in the store at the time, she gave me a mini grooming inservice on how to properly brush and detangle the super poodles hair (he likes his fro to look just so). She sweet-talked him and gave him treats throughout our visit. It was clearly evident that Heather is super knowledgeable about dog behavior and has years of experience grooming. Wyatt, the sexy poodle, was relaxed the entire time. Not one complaint at all. Oh, and $18 bucks for the bath! Great pricing. We are considering locating to the Colorado Springs area and have already claimed Filthy Bitches as the place to be for our grooming needs.

I used to take my girl to Petsmart but they were so inattentive and treated my dog just as a number. Plus for whatever reason my dog always came out super stressed and drooling a lot. They also told me that my dog was hard to handle because she was scared of the blow dryer. I don't know what they were doing because the girls at Pawcassos said she did great with the dryer. When I picked her up she looked happy, not stressed, not drooling, and looked absolutely adorable. Her bath and trim were perfect and the price is much more affordable than Petsmart ($48 for a 70 lbs golden retriever mix...Petsmart is like, $80) AND I felt like my girl got the attention she deserves.
