I've been taking my dogs to ape Spa (7 Yorkies) for over 2 years. We have consistently received amazing and consistent grooming service for all of our dogs. My dogs are of different ages and temperaments and even my oldest little one Chanel, who we normally has to tranquilize at other groomers does fine here without any tranquilizers. My dogs come back happy, smelling like a dream and calm. As a furbaby momma, my 7 babies safety and care are the utmost importance to me and when I leave my children with Paw Spa, I never worry for they are loved and cared for just like we love and care for them. In addition, if the groomers notice anything amiss about one of my dogs, they let me know immediately and we take them to the vet. I really couldn't ask for anything more. I am absolutely in love with Paw Spa groomers, I've been taking my pup princess there for about 6 months or so. I appreciate their care for animals over their desire to over book. My pup is sensitive, a little codependent, and overall a little anxious so grooming day can be scary for her. What I LOVE about Paw Spa is they don't take 10 dogs at a time and keep them caged all day, my girl is usually ready for pick up within and hour of drop off which means a lot less stress for her. Thank you to these two wonderful women, Sam and Katie! I took my sweet Ragdoll cat Diamonds into them this morning for her first bath and grooming. I've normally taken her to the Vet for her yearly combout. She had some mats on her hind-end along with needing a bath. They were very kind, knowledgeable and most of all took wonderful care of my sweet 12 year old cat. It's obvious they both love cats. Diamonds came home smelling clean and they combed SO much hair out of her, along with taking the mats out. She isn't even mad at me, and I will go back to Paw Spa from now on, along with telling everyone with a dog or cat to call them. When she was ready to be picked up, I got a cute picture of her saying "I'm done!" My first cat grooming experience was great! Quick and friendly service and my boy came home looking and feeling so handsome! Unfortunately my second experience was the opposite. Apparently prices have increased while quality has declined. My boy came home nervous and rattled and immediately started peeing in the house. (He's 3 years old and had NEVER previously pottied in the house!) He also still had mats under his front legs, which was the primary reason making the appointment. read more

What!!?? Cat Days now at Paw Spa on Meridian Road. Attention cats of Treasure Valley, want to finally ditch those pesky dogs for the day? Have your own relaxing, quiet time at a spa? Call and make your appointment. They fill up fast, but you can get on the monthly schedule! My kittens signed up and love it! Soft claws , fur brushed out, smelling nice, relaxed and even pics if you're good (even if you're a little bratty she'll love ya anyway! Ask my Bumbi who was a talker!!). I now have two baby doll face Persians I take to get soft claws and their massive fur coat brushed out. They took to Sam well. Sam is a cat lover (a few cats in her zoo at home too!) so kind to all my cats I've brought over the last 7yrs. The appointment begins on time, it is done right, she is honest, it isn't ever messy (you do not want soft claw glue on their paw fur ), it is done when she says it will be, and she'll text you and let you know because she knows it is stressful for you too! I haven't had any issues. My cat looks great. Just remember all the art on the wall is Sam's own artistry! Best animal photos I've ever seen. Such movement and how does she pic up such personality in such detail I'll never understand. Cats can be in color too! White cat? Wish you have a tiger? Bam! she can do that and it is all natural. I tried and tried to get another appointment for my havanese to be groomed. The owner told me that she would have one of her groomers call me. Nothing even after I called again. If this owner wants to keep and hold onto loyal, paying customers, than she needs to make sure that calling back is a priority. read more

They did a good job grooming our cat. I am upset because we had our cat there in Feb. 2019 and the cost was considerably lower. I has asked for a Lion cut like the last time I was there. I was asked if a bath was needed and I said just like the last time. When I picked him up the cost was $40.00 more. I was told that I requested a bath and Lion cut and that was more. I had said to do what you did last time. Evidently that did not matter. I want to say I am not upset about the quality of the grooming, just make sure you are told the correct amount before you leave an animal with them. read more

I thought after all the positive reviews that I would give them a shot, however two weeks have gone by and after 2 calls and an email asking for service I get nothing. Ill take my dogs somewhere else where I can at least call and get an appointment scheduled or get a call back. What poor service. read more

This is the best groomer's I have had the privilege of using EVER! Both Sarah and Sam have done grooms for my pomeranian. They have always done a fabulous job and I have always been very pleased. I am particularly fond of the unique and fun dye work that they do! For them, grooming is not just a job, it's an art form and you can see the care that they put into their work. They contribute their services to both rescue dogs and cats and service dogs which I love! They are priced competitively and worth every penny. read more

For 5 years I was pleased with the grooming job they did on my cocker but things have changed recently. For the last 8 months their service has deteriorated to the point of I've found a different grooming establishment. They groomed him ok but a two hour groom turned into 4 hours. It took them 4 days to return my call for an appointment. Too bad since they were very close to my house. read more
