Over the moon poodles and doodle in Idaho - 208-861-7074 Tiffany Corson Mountain Bridge Doodles in Arizona - +1 (480) 241-3098 Leigh Ann Matty I feel compelled to share my experience with two dog breeders who have shown extreme unprofessionalism and a complete lack of integrity. Not only did they breach our contract, but has repeatedly lied about important details regarding the puppy I was a home guardian for. Her & her business partners behavior has been incredibly inconsiderate and disrespectful, and I'm deeply concerned about the well-being of the animals they are breeding. I was brought on as a home guardian to care for and train a puppy for the breeder, under the impression I was his owner while they had breeding rights. Over the past nine months, I've fully committed to providing this puppy with a loving, stable home--training him, taking him to all his vet appointments, and covering the costs for his care and well-being. This is not only heartbreaking but deeply frustrating, as I fulfilled every aspect of our agreement while she has completely disregarded her commitments, breaching contract, involving family members who are not included on the contract, and giving the puppy expired supplements called (get me going), causing him to overdose. This resulted in me taking him to the emergency vet for over 48 hours, due to being so lethargic, dehydrated, causing him to have uncontrollable bowel movements, no appetite, and had been foaming at the mouth. However, after all my time, effort, and financial investment, the breeder has now taken the puppy back without any regard for the bond we've built or the responsibility I've shown, while blatantly ignoring all calls and texts with the concern of his whereabouts and why he was never returned to his guardian home. These breeder have demonstrated a total disregard for ethical practices and have been compulsive liars throughout our interactions. It's clear that they should not be entrusted with the care and breeding of animals. I strongly urge others to be cautious and reconsider purchasing from them. There are many reputable breeders who genuinely care about the animals they bring into the world--unfortunately, these individuals are not one of them. Please do your research and protect yourself and the animals involved. If you're considering a home guardian program, please be cautious and make sure you're working with a breeder who is honest, professional, and truly values the well-being of both the animals and the people involved.

Basically kidnapped the dog my brother had bonded with for 3 1/2 years. This dog has a name, "General". He was part of our family. He's been my brother's emotional support since the passing of my sister-in-law two years ago. April acquired General who supposedly came from Ukraine during the war. He had separation anxiety from that trauma but the minute he met my brother and sister-in-law, he belonged to them. His separation anxiety has diminished (he's never been destructive). While my brother was recently out of town, April took it upon herself to take the dog and has refused to acknowledge or respond to any texts or calls from my brother or family members. We have no idea where General has been taken. If anyone has any information on him, his well-being, or his whereabouts, please respond. My brother is heartbroken and we need General to know he is loved by us. I'm interested to know if this is a pattern April has with her guardian dog program. She pairs a dog with a potential owner, studs him out on her schedule, in return after so many years, the potential owner receives the paperwork and full ownership of the dog. April relinquishes all rights to the dog. She has refused all contact with us....we know or understand nothing. No explanation from her whatsoever, our dog is just gone.

I got him at 8 weeks and he had to start shots all over again once I got him because of how he got them before he became mine, and the first vet visit at another place he was terrified and shaking in my lap almost the whole time during the exam and shots. With how the staff treated us and how scared he was, I'm so glad this place was recommended to me. When my boy got his next set of shots here, he had no idea he had even gotten shots at all. Not a flinch, not a look behind, he just knew that his friend had really good treats and lots of pets. Every set of shots after went just as smooth, and he very quickly started getting excited to go to the vet and they have made the experience nothing but positive for him! They have all been so kind and patient and friendly to me and my boy, I never feel rushed through and they spend as much time as they need to answer any and all questions, provide the most information, and have been very transparent and understanding of the financial side of things. I'm impressed with how quickly they remember my boy, and greet him by name as soon as we walk in, and the techs are always excited to see my crazy eyed boy! Even if he's been taken back without me, he comes trotting out with a smile. Even after I could hear that he was not a fan of his nails being trimmed, but he was quite dramatic about that when he was younger so I knew that he was never hurt, just vocal. After he got his sutures taken out, they even had a Valentine's Day Photo Booth and sent me the adorable pictures! (With permission to take the pics) I'm just impressed they got him to sit still for any photos! Nothing but great things to say about this vet and the people working within it. Will always take my boy here and any futures pets

Our owner was friendly, and worked with us financially on the pricing. However I had to ask for a receipt and what I received was a small generic slip that can be purchased at an office supply store with no contact information and no itemization. The breeder delayed our original pickup date by about half a week because she said they picked up a "parasite" and had to finish their 5-day treatment. I immediately had a stool sample checked by slide smear at our veterinarian and it came back clear, which I reported to the breeder. One pup was noticeably smaller than the other (2.3 vs. 4.3 lbs at six weeks). Then after three months they started to have trouble with loose mucousy stools, lack of appetite and light vomiting. At first we tried changing food and feeding a bland diet but no improvement. Our vet suggested that we test for giardia, an intestinal parasite and sure enough the test came back positive. I discovered that giardia requires a special (antigen) test that most veterinarians can't run in their labs; it has to be sent out. When I asked the breeder what the parasite they originally contracted was she confirmed that it was giardia. What disturbed me is that she did not document what the specific parasite was, what treatment was administered, nor did she disclose to me that a special test was required to detect it. I am suspicious that these puppies were not fully cured when we picked them up, since a proper test was not performed after treatment. We have learned that giardia cysts can hide out in the intestinal tract and reinfect later. The infection we dealt with was difficult to cure as the vet had to use two different medicines over 7 days each to clear up their condition and obtain a negative test. The breeder chose to keep silent when I told her about my initial fecal slide results, which is crazy since her warranty explicitly disclaims giardia and coccidia. If you use this breeder I recommend that you specifically ask about these two parasites and if diagnosed, have her provide a follow-up test proving that the parasites were not detected. The good news is that the size and weight difference between our pups eventually narrowed to only 5% and no ill effects from their infection have displayed. Their skin, teeth, and muscles all appear to be healthy and we are very happy with them.

We had an 18 year old Chihuahua who lived a long, wonderful life. I was starting to believe he was going to be the first dog to cheat death itself. Alas, these past few months he had been declining rapidly, and after his last seizure, he didn't recover. He stopped eating, became incredibly disoriented, and we knew it was time to make the kindest and hardest decision a pet owner ever has to make. We called Gentle Goodbyes, and they were able to come to our home so our little guy could spend his final moments somewhere he was comfortable and surrounded by the people who loved him most. From the moment they arrived, they were compassionate, patient, and incredibly professional. They made sure he was comfortable and never made us feel rushed while we said our final goodbyes. They lit a candle in his memory, made a clay paw print for us on the spot, and gave us the time and space we needed to simply be with him. They somehow managed to strike the perfect balance of guiding us through the process while also allowing us to feel our grief without ever feeling like we were on a timeline. There are probably a hundred little things they did that I'm not able to articulate right now because I'm still grieving the loss of my best friend, but I knew I wanted to make sure I thanked them properly and gave them the five stars they deserve. No one ever wants to need a service like this, but if and when that day comes, I cannot recommend Gentle Goodbyes enough. They gave our sweet boy a peaceful, dignified farewell, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
