Elk Creek was recommended by our dog groomer when we shared our frustrations (many) with the vet downtown and it was a great recommendation. The staff at Elk Creek is very personable and compassionate. This isn't just a job for any of them, it's a passion. From the person who takes calls and makes appointments to the doctors to the techs, every person we've dealt with has been understanding and caring. The exam rooms are spacious, comfortable, and quiet, so that your visit is kept private. The Doctors are the best we've ever been to. They listen to you and give you sound advice that's in the best interest of the (insert pet here). We find the prices for services and medication very reasonable, and making an appointment has never been a problem. As sad as it is, we've brought two of our dogs here to say goodbye to them. It's a terrible thing to do and it's incredibly difficult, but the staff understands that. They give you as much time as you need and make sure your pet is comfortable. As heartbreaking as it is, Elk Creek does it with care and dignity. Yes, it's about a 30 minute drive, but it's worth it for the care and the compassion the staff at Elk Creek has for your pet.

I have been meaning to write this review for years now. We have been fortunate enough to get three…read moredogs from Liz from 2021-2024. I cannot begin to express how special these dogs are. They are so in tune with human emotions, playful, and loving. All three of them have been around babies and toddlers and could not be more gentle. The joy they bring to our home is indescribable. Our most recent pup was a part of the inmate training program. It's so lovely to think that she was able to bring joy to others before she came home to us. All three were adopted when they were around 6-8 mo old. We have several older dogs (10-14 years old) as well- all of whom have medical conditions that require extra care. We were hesitant at first to bring young dogs around our older pack. There was absolutely no issue. The little ones have encouraged their elders to play and run around with them but are also very respectful of their space and need for rest. Liz is such a wonderful lady and even more wonderful with the dogs. She sat us down and told us all about the stack of papers she gives at each adoption. She encouraged us to always reach out if we saw any behavioral issues so she could work with us. We knew that the line of communication was always open so any problems could be fixed. Fortunately, we have not had any thus far! All dogs are in perfect health. I believe we paid $650-$700 for each dog. This included microchip/vaccines/neutering/initial behavioral training. Based on the good work this place does- and on the prices of other rescues that offer doodle mixes- this is an incredibly fair price. Based on the quality of dog we have received from Liz 3x now, I really do believe it is her treatment of them in the beginning of their lives that have shaped them into such amazing and intuitive animals. Seeing negative reviews on here absolutely breaks my heart. Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but mine could not be more positive of Pawsibilities Unleashed. We had an emergency last week where he was choking on some food, me being a helicopter mom freaked out after a solid ten mins of hacking and choking. We drove down the street quickly to Urban Village, the women was SO SWEET and came running out to check him as soon as pulled up. She acted as if it were her own pup and that's the care I love to see! He ended up being fine and did not have to be seen. We booked his gland express apt for here two weeks later simply because the customer service was great and they seem very attentive to care. Took him today & we were in and out within 15 mins! Rawling wasn't scared and was a happy boy when he came back outside. We will definitely be back!

The space itself and really cute and clean - I've never been to a vet clinic that was so design-y and pretty! When I brought my cat in for an initial visit (to have a bump looked at on her side), I was even offered water or coffee while I waited! I don't know about you, but that's never been the case at other vet clinics I've visited. The vet tech was very helpful and efficient. They used a laptop to get my information in the system, so I didn't have to sit there and fill out a bunch of paperwork, which was nice. Dr. Fruit was kind and attentive to my cat. I've had experiences with vets before where they kind of brush off your concerns, but that was definitely not the case with Dr. Fruit - she was great. We decided to go ahead with surgery to remove the bump, which I was nervous about because I've never had a pet need surgery before. But they answered all my questions and made me feel better about it. Dr. Rudwell actually did the surgery on my cat and she gave me the debrief after the surgery. I know vets always say to call with questions or concerns, but I really do feel comfortable calling them or sending them a picture of the stitches if I need to. Anyway, if you're like me and you're doing research to find the right vet for your pet, definitely add Urban Village to your list!
