I would have to agree with another reviewer that they don't treat us not people. You are assigned a paralegal and not an attorney. You don't even get assigned an attorney until the day of your hearing with the judge. Paralegal doesn't return calls and i did send her emails. She returned the emails sometimes that same day or days later. A person at Social security called them several times and could never get your paralegal on the phone. Docs was never send and checked in a timely matter. SSA doesn't wait until your firm is ready and this lawyer firm should know that. SsA will continue your case and make a determination with or without them. I had to gather all my paperwork and get my doctor to fill out forms and call ssa myself to make sure they got it and then call my doctor to tell them to fax it to them or the law firm. I felt like I was doing all the work and I shouldn't feel that way. Do yourself a favor it's not worth going to this firm and paying them for services that you feel like your doing yourself. Get a law firm that cares and that you actually can speak with a lawyer through our case. You should be able to trust your lawyer or law firm cuz I never spoken or meet my lawyer but that paralegal. There clients should be there priority and it's not. Good luck if you go with them and I wish I would of listen to other people reviews because it so true.

This is a very large law firm and for the actual owner to speak with me a few times showed me they're not just another law firm looking for their cut in your accident, etc. They earn their cut which isn't really much. They were always there to answer any questions I had. I love that if when you call and if your rep. is busy they make an appointment for you to speak with them at another specified time that works for you and them, which is great as they focus on you at that time and it's all yours. I was never interrupted or hurried off the phone; I never felt rushed. In fact Carla wouldn't get off the phone with me if I didn't understand something. She explains things to you in layman's terms. I'm sure she might have been annoyed with all my questions, etc., but she never quivered and always treated me professionally and with full compassion. WComp. is a lot of papers and it's tough to understand but Carla took that pile of papers and info and reduced them so I could breeze through and with confidence that she was working for my best interest. She also explained the WC procedures, law, and processes to me that I now understand. The laws for WC in NYS are terrible. They side with the employer which for those of us like me who've been left with life-long disabilities due to an accident at work is just deplorable. I believe WC is very unfair, has very little concern for the employee. They are too straight forward and it seems they treat us all alike when all our cases are very different. Carla and the Kenny Law Firm went to bat for me and did the best they could working with this unfair WC system that needs to be overhauled. Kelly Beck was also helpful to me at the very end but Carla was my main person. Thanks again guys, I know what firm I'm recommending. Although we contributed part of the money needed for the legal services, Mr. Greenwald never visited my brother during his incarceration. Additionally, we were provided with legal guidance that ultimately resulted in a warrant being issued, further exacerbating an already difficult and stressful situation. On May 7, we requested an itemized invoice detailing the legal services rendered. We were informed by the receptionist that it was "being worked on." However, as of May 22, we still had not received the requested documentation. When I contacted the office again to follow up, the conversation became contentious with both the reception staff and Mr. Greenwald himself. We were informed that we were "not the clients," despite being individuals who contributed financially to the services and who had consistently sought clarification and updates throughout the process. Overall, we found the communication, professionalism, and transparency demonstrated by this office to be inadequate. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend their services.

Later, I discovered my 2024 charges could have been dropped, but he was too busy to sort through the paperwork. Seven months later, in open court, he admitted he thought the new charges predated the old ones. I realized I needed a real lawyer, or I'd be facing serious time. I had worked with Ben before in traffic court, and all I can say is he's a master of his craft. When your freedom is on the line, he's worth his weight in gold. Ben got everything reduced to a misdemeanor with a conditional discharge and a $250 fine--no jail time, just a requirement to stay out of trouble for a year. If you don't hire this guy, you're making a huge mistake and probably deserve to sit in jail. Ben, you're truly the best, and I can't thank you enough. What my public defender couldn't handle in a year and a half, you resolved in six months, far exceeding my expectations. I hoped for a better outcome, but you worked miracles. You're incredible. From day one, this place operated exactly like the one-star reviews warned--except somehow worse. Phone calls go unanswered like they're being screened by the FBI. Want to speak to an actual lawyer? Cute. You'll need to "schedule an appointment," which means waiting 2-3 days so they can talk at you with maximum annoyance. When you finally reach someone, the attitude is astonishing. Rude, dismissive, and condescending--as if you personally ruined their day by hiring them. The paralegals clearly took a master class in passive aggression. Customer service here is not bad--it's hostile. Then comes the truly shady part: they pressure you to sign over prior, completely unrelated cases that have nothing to do with why you hired them. This is not clearly explained upfront, and it feels like a trap you only realize you've stepped into after it's too late. Consider this your warning. Advocacy? Negotiation? Fighting for your rights? Absolutely not. When dealing with doctors or insurance companies, they fold immediately. Whatever they're told, they accept. No pushback. No strategy. No effort.
