A nice young man was helping us, and the manager David who proceeded to berate the employee helping us and did the same to us! Is obviously not the one to have that job! So David, here is your yelp! Put a ring in to get resized. They quoted me $80, twice. I paid that and it was to return in 3 weeks. 3 weeks go by and they called to tell me the ring not done because I need to pay more for the job to get done and that I can come pick it up because their jeweler just sent it back without even speaking to me. I go to pick it up and request to speak to the manager. The manager avoided speaking to me twice, but instead had one of her other workers waste my time asking me questions to problems only she can solve. Once the worker figured this out, he went back to tell her more of the story and she finally came from out her office to be completely rude to me. To tell me she's not a jeweler and they couldn't have known it would cost more. She offered no solutions, argue with me about the situation, started yelling at me and then told me I would never be allowed in her store or any other pawn America ever again. So I visit the store the store to buy a headset I found I found a headset that's callet that's called asteroids a is asteroids A50.... So I like the way they they looked so I bought them later on later on that day I realized that they hurt my head so today 4 days later II brought them back but I did not have a receipt of every seat because I left it at home So the X for my idea so I gave that to them and they locked me up on the computer They said the serial number was invalid so I asked the person are you saying that I that I stole the Box and put the headphones in the Box and she said yes and and she gave me the Box back and said if you cannot find the receipt Then you will have to sell it somewhere else II acknowledged that and calmly walked out the door So when I got home I found the receipt in a few minutes I looked at the receipt the main receipt and I match that with the reprint and surely it was their fault because the receipt said something completely completely different the is the person Who bought the headset from is from a random guy did not put the correct and is a correct information in So they are blaming me for Trying to come back and use them frog what they item But I have the main receipt. So now I'm going to ask ax for the manager and I and I'm going to get my refund read more

The staff at PA in Robbinsdale are very honest and friendly. The same can not be said of the manager Donna. I called on 5/14/2021 at 2:29 CDT to ask if I could pick something up 1 day later because it was more convenient for me. Donna happily agreed and said I would still have to pay 2 months of interest. I said that is perfect. She took my drivers license info to put on the "Board" just in case she wasn't there when I picked the item up. This way the employees could reference her note. I came in on 5/21/2021 at 6:33 p.m. CDT to pick up the items and was surprised that they were charging 3 months of interest. Almost $100 more than I was expecting. I asked to speak to Donna but she wasn't there. I asked them to check the board and see the note. They went and there was no note. I paid all 3 months of interest and took my items out of pawn. The employees suggested I come back and speak to Donna the next day. I did just that. When I came in on 5/22/2021 at about 2:40 I asked to speak to Donna. I explained the situation and she said she had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. She said too bad you paid all 3 months but it's because you were late. I said that I would have come in on 5/19/2021 to pick it up to save money on interest and specifically asked if I would be charged for 2 or 3 months on 5/14/2021. She had said only 2 months. She looked at me gave me my notes back and said "Goodbye have a nice day sir". I have been a customer of PA for over 10 years, spent over $10,000 between a few different locations, pawned things before, and never had any issues. Pawn America has a reputation of trust and has consistently honored their commitments and agreements with me until today. I am extremely disappointed in the actions of Donna and the level of disrespect I experienced today. She showed no interest in trying to find a remedy to the situation or even to treat me with an ounce of respect. I would recommend that people avoid going to this location to make purchases or to pawn items. The manager shows contempt to the customers, is apathetic, disrespectful, and deceptive. I will not be back to this location or any other location ever again. read more

They sell fake jewelry and then say that you may sell it back to them for way less then what you paid for it then they will resell it! Beware! I purchased jewelry from them and both times I brought it back in to have it looked at the staff members were looking at it as if it was fake until I told them that I purchased it from them then they were like oh yes, it's real. Let us clean it for you! I'm like this is my 2nd time in I shouldn't have to have it cleaned less then a week consider that I haven't even worn it since the last week that it was in to be cleaned! Plus gold shouldn't tarnish and it's not plated! The guy David was very rude and I'm like what's with the attitude when I'm not even giving you any! If anything I should be the one upset!
