I brought my 7lb Maltese for a haircut and bath for 50$. They took her, then called me fifteen…read moreminutes later saying they couldn't give her a haircut cause she had nots. They didn't offer me another option, and said they'd trim her and shower her for 50$. I asked why they couldn't just brush her, or shave her. The guy at the front desk he doesn't know he just answers the phone and books appointments. They trimmed her face completely crooked. It looks like she just sat there till the last minute and they just cut her face. She looked exactly the same as she did going in. I drove all the way from downtown LA. Nice people. Lame service. Never again

I really appreciated how confidently and calmly the groomer took control when he arrived. It immediately made me feel like Charlie was in good hands. And the best part was seeing Charlie afterward...he came running into the house SO excited and happy, like he had just had the best time of his life! He didn't seem stressed at all. My dogs already knew and were comfortable with the groomer, so I was willing to continue using the service even though it had become significantly more expensive. Unfortunately, this time the experience was extremely disappointing. I first messaged Carlos on July 15th and received no response. I then called on Friday, July 17 to follow up, and initially got no answer. When I called on his cell phone again, Carlos answered and said he was driving and would call me back in 30 minutes. He never did. I called again later that evening, and instead of apologizing for not following up, the conversation felt dismissive and unprofessional. We eventually scheduled an appointment for July 21 between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. Carlos never showed up and never called to let me know there was an issue. I tried calling multiple times around 7:30 PM and received no response. At that point, I had no choice but to look for another groomer through Yelp. Ironically, Yelp also sent my inquiry to other providers and this same groomer responded first. Given that he had already failed to show up for our confirmed appointment and had ignored multiple calls, I told him I was no longer interested in his services. I understand that things can occasionally happen, but failing to communicate, not returning calls and completely missing a scheduled appointment without any notice is unacceptable - especially from a service that has already increased its prices multiple times. I had continued using Bark Barber largely because my dogs were familiar with the groomer, but reliability and communication are just as important as the grooming itself. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will be taking my dogs elsewhere. I have attached all the images of the call logs and messages with him as evidence.

My shaggy boy walked into her "salon" this afternoon and walked out looking like a stud muffin!!!! My handsome boy is a mix - Chihuahua, Pomeranian & Papillon so he has a glorious long fur coat of white and black! She asked me what my preference was on his length, style, etc... and provided her expertise.
