I wanted to take a moment to write a review for any pet lover that is looking for a service they can depend on to take care of their beloved pets. Here's what happened to me, I had a pet sitter that did not show up the day we were to go on vacation and we had to cancel our plans and change to leave the next day instead because of hiring the wrong sitter. Desperate to find someone, I was lucky enough to come across Beth's company and I gave her a call. From the moment she answered the phone, she put my fears at ease and though I was a little out of her service area and it was last minute, she felt bad for the situation I was put in and wanted to help. She set everything up and came to meet me and my dog Murphy and cat Bridget. They both loved her from the start and she took excellent care of them for the three days that I was away. She sent pictures and texts letting me know how they were, she spent extra time in the home with them rather than just showing up and leaving quickly after a visit. She has a wonderful way with animals and you couldn't leave your pets in better hands. Beth will take care of them wonderfully and the love and attention she gives comes from her passion for taking care of animals as if they were her own. For the record, I used her service on December 26-29 of this year, 2014, and Beth will be my pet sitter from this point forward without exception. I know how stressful it can be finding a pet sitting service you can trust and my review was written to help share information about a service that exceeded my expectations in every way and maybe it will help others that are in need of a great pet sitter while they are away. What a peace of mind, knowing that my baby girl Storm is being well taken care of and sooooooooooo loved. We found Beth on yelp as we were in search of a dog sitter for our 8 month old blue nose Pitbull. Between my husband and I, we found about 20 different dog sitter, finding one, wasn't the problem, finding a reasonable one for about 20 days was the problem. We had gotten soooooooo many different quotes, but talking to Beth and her feeling our aggravation, she decided to make a decision that she will never regret, she decided to go down in price just so that we can go on our business trip and not worry financially but to give us a peace of mind with our Pitbull Storm. We travel about 5 times a year, so my worry now will no longer be about my baby girl Storm. Beth keeps me posted every day on how Storm is doing and I can't thank her enough for the pics and stories that she sends me daily. Choosing whether to board our critters or hire a pet sitter was an easy decision; however, choosing a pet sitter to watch all of our critters was one of the hardest decisions to make. Once I met Beth, the owner of Paws at Peace Pro Pet Sitting, choosing a pet sitter instantly became easy. She went out of her way on several occasions to join us in our home, and on the critters turf, so they could become acquainted with her. When the day came that we had to leave for vacation, there was no doubt in my mind that the critters were in good hands. That being said, Beth had her work cut out for her. We have three dogs, a cat, and a quasi-cat, all of which she took excellent care of and all of them had different needs. Despite us being out of the country for an extended period, Beth went above and beyond by sending us pictures, videos and emails with updates of all of our babies. She went out of her way to bring them special treats, spent tons of time playing with them, and made sure they were all loved. Beth is such a life saver! As a single professional, my first love sometimes needs more attention than I can give. At a moment's notice, Beth is there to save the day. Even when my schedule/plans change, Paws at Peace is flexible. At the free in home consultation, Ollie, my 10 year old beagle immediately took to Beth. She is very caring and attentive to him. We went over many questions about his health, my home, his preferences. Things that I would not have thought about but clearly are important. I would enthusiastically recommend Beth's Paws at Peace and Beth to anyone! I was nervous at first to trust my animals with anyone other than me because each pet is so different with their personalities. When Beth came over for the consultation she arrived early, looked professional and put us at ease immediately. She spent time on the floor with both dogs and both cats and bonded with them right away. She just has that special animal touch. Beth is reliable, caring, honest, and a true dog lover.
