I saw many poops on the ground and eventually did step in some which was so gross! Literally, cannot understand why people don't pick up after their pets when there are poop bags right there! Also, there are a lot of older people and their older dogs in the small dog area and that was also not a good expereince. One mans dog kept coming to beg me for my dogs treats and he did not attempt to contain his dog. I won't be going back to the this small dog area again. The large dog area seemed to have a good vibe and a lot of dogs there. I did not want to overwhelm my large breed puppy so I did not take him inside. However, of all the people I encoutered outside of the LD area, they seemed cool. I will be looking for other dog parks! Wish there was a different type of play area for dogs!

It is a crazy lifesaver when it's often 80F already at 8AM and you woke up a bit too late to ensure it isn't 90F out. The owners so far have all been friendly and the dogs are more-or-less pretty well behaved and sometimes play a lot. They are a lot of dog friends! My only gripe is that it doesn't feel too clean with the sand which I imagine that after enough poop over the years, you wouldn't be able to clean it to a sanitary level regardless. However, in terms of coziness, comfort, the view, the dogs/people, ambiance of just wanting to pass time and laze, this is a great option and one of the nicer spots I've seen after visiting quite a few dog spots. A plus side that isn't guaranteed at other locations is also decent amount of street parking.
