Those types of compassionate discounts are something that they very seriously need to think about offering. I think it would seriously help with their ratings (and their ratings could frankly use some help). I honestly do trust that they did everything possible to save my cats life and they all appeared very professional, very caring, compassionate and concerned. However, their billing policies shows very clearly that their final bottom line is that they are very much a "for-profit business" and you should have no illusions about that if you take your pet there for help. The first thing they ask about after getting your name and your pets name and why you are there, is your credit card information.
