Baylie did an excellent job with my first-time to the groomer, very matted farm dog. We weren't sure her double coat could be saved, but they worked their magic and maintained the long coat. Molly came out looking beautiful, relaxed like a whole day at the spa, and smelling clean. The crew was very responsive on Facebook, and I felt they took good care of Molly and me. I am so pleased. I got two guinea pigs from here two weeks ago that had visible scratches. We showed the person who checked them out and basically told use to bath them and to put ointment or something on one of them. And a week later we took them to the vet because the scratches looked worse. Turns out they had ringworm. I called the pet store back and they were only trying to sell me their antifungal spray instead of reimbursing me for selling me animals that had a most likely a fungal infection at the point of purchase. read more

We have been looking for a specific pet. In the last 7 months we were disappointed, that is until we found this pet breeder. We couldn't have found nicer more honest people. They provided proof that they were an actual brick and mortar location, with modern services. Once we determined which one we wanted, they provided daily updates and photographs. It's been a couple years since I was last here, but it was great when I was there! I purchased a baby hedgehog from the breeder and I was very impressed with the state of their family-run store! I'm used to chain pet stores smelling awful and the pets being sickly and treated poorly. I've had the same experience with other family-owned stores in the past too! I was impressed when I first walked into the store. It was a little crowded with all the merchandise and animal pens, but you couldn't even smell the animals! I looked around their store and saw that their animals looked healthy, active, and their cages were so clean! I could tell that this family took pride in their store and I was very happy with the hedgehog I had purchased. I would definitely recommend this family as a reliable hedgehog source, and I can't wait to check out some of their other animals as well! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is extremely over priced and the lady that runs the shop is rude. My dog has separation anxiety, which is why we don't crate him because it makes it worse. The lady being snotty like she was some dog trainer or something was telling me I need to crate train him because he didn't want to go into her small crate she had in the back. On top of her acting like a rude no it all, her store was a disgusting mess and is to cluttered. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place. After posting this review, the lady that owned the store called me out on my review, saying I wrote nasty things about her store. Just facts lady. I happily drive to Salina to groom my dogs. This place is the only thing about Abilene that is unfriendly. read more
