I started with my oldest Shih Tzu and went to Poochini based on Yelp reviews. My dog was assigned to Joey, and I cannot speak highly enough of his care and talent! So glad we found this place! It is efficiently run by Theo and as I wait for my dog, I observe other dogs coming out. They all look great! Joey is so kind to my dogs, he puts even the skittish rescue at ease. I will definitely keep using Poochini and highly recommend them to anyone whose dog needs kind and professional grooming.

The credit card machine was "down" and they wanted cash. When I got home and looked at his paws, the pads were raw from a too close cut.... The energy at this place was so tense Prior to bringing him in I told them that this was his first cut. If he was scared or difficult, they should have stopped and let me know. I feel horrible that I subjected him to this experience and will never take him back there.

My spoiled babies all LOVED their week long stays so they stayed a little less than a week on two separate occasions. I have one dog that is extremely anxious and during the first visit it took her a day to settle in but on the second stay it only took a few hours. Which is amazing. Their website answered all the questions I had so I called and booked some dates. I can confirm that in fact, they are everything I hoped for. Our little trio of babies loved staying and you'll see nothing but smiles and playful faces. They kept me updated on how the pets did while we were away which includes pictures; the pics really put me at ease because I could see how happy they were. The staff is amazing no matter who you speak with or text, they all are amazing people truly. They are animal lovers and it shows. They treat your pets as if they are their own. Kisses, treats if you allow it and I love the drop off form is great. They adhere to whatever the dog's schedule is and they will give prescription medication as well. I especially want to say that I was able to genuinely relax because I KNEW that my babies were being well cared for and loved. Upon picking up our pups, we got report cards and it helps to see how they did.

The grooming manager refused, insisted the dog was severely matted. .As someone who brushes my dog with a pin brush, I knew these were surface tangles on the rear quarters, not tight mats near the skin. After an exhausting argument in the lobby where I felt entirely dismissed, I reluctantly agreed to the shorter length just to keep my appointment. Ultimately, the business called me to pick up my dog mid-appointment without completing the trim. I came to pick him up and he had already been washed and could have been trimmed When I got him home, I easily brushed out the remaining surface tangles myself. He did not have mats, just needed a standard trim which I proceeded to another groomer to finish the job. They did not charge me but I felt the matting issue was overblown and especially the confrontational communication with the staff left me exhausted and convinced me not to return.

As a dog trainer and experienced dog own I know better than to shave them. After about four hours I was told I could pick them up and when I arrived I was shocked as both of my pups were saved completely. It's been almost nine months and their hair still hasn't grown all the way back. And the texture of my Doodles hair has changed. Keep this in mind before coming to this groomer. This is an old school grooming facility not able to give styled cuts as in a Teddy bear cut for example.

We were pleasantly surprised by the affordability of St. Francis, but more importantly by the exceptional service. From the lady thay checks you in at the front desk to the vet. Everybody was incredibly kind to our Roxy who was apprehensive and nervous. By about mid-way through the appointment Roxy had calmed down a ton because of all of the love and affection she was receiving from the staff. She got her shots updated and a clean bill of health. St. Francis has earned our trust and will now be the go to veterinarian for all of our pets.

I'll start by saying this offering is incredibly admirable. The clinic is adorable and doesn't require reservations. I stopped by with my 2 pups and the experience was pretty stressful and long. I waited for ~1.5 hours outside in the summer and it wasn't comfortable. During the wait there was a dog that joined the wait whom was pretty aggressively barking- which set off heaps of dogs. But again I want to reiterate that they are doing great things with having this clinics & with it being open, of course it's to be expected that there will be a long wait and a few potentially uncomfortable situations. Today was my 2nd time heading in & it was to try the self dog wash area. It was my first time trying this VS heading to the groomers & the experience was great! There grooming products provided worked well & both the cleaning/drying stations were clean and safe. I called day of to see if an appt was available and they squeezed me in. Today happened to also be another shot clinic & this one looked a lot more enjoyable. Folks were allowed to wait inside and no dogs seemed to be barking at one another. So I'd say it's worth trying out & if the line is around the building/it's stressful; try to attend a different day. I'll be back to clean my pups on a regular basis!
