The dog loves going here for his bath. No other grooming service in town elicits such a response from him. I can't say enough good things about the comfort, relief, satisfaction, and trust this kind of a consistent response from the dog brings me and my son. A few times I've shown up with an appointment but they were too full and I had to take the dog home without his bath. He literally whined and cried all the way home, staring out the back window, then he sulked and moped around for two whole days after; it was heartbreaking. Literal tears from his eyes, and his face so very sad, and he didn't want to get out of the car when we got home, then he lingered by the door for a couple days after. His message to me was clear. He expected his bath from his favorite groomer and missed it. Great prices. Specials & coupons are available in local ad mailer magazines and via online. It's easier to get in for full bath if you set an appointment in advance, because they are always busy, especially around any holiday time. They offer self-grooming options too, but I've never used that service from them yet. They used to give a neckerchief to dogs they bathed, but then earlier this rear (2024) I realized they stopped giving the dogs their neckerchief. That saddened me as I was collecting them to make a blanket to eventually memorialize this aging senior dog. I don't know why they stopped it. I always looked forward to seeing which design he would get on bath day. I think he likes it too because when I would remove it a couple days post-bath, he would insistently ask for it and energetically play with it for hours. I hope they begin doing this again. However, when I called to discuss it with the owner, he was more than happy to help. He went through and investigated the situation/preference cards, did not blame it on staff, all while trying to provide the best customer service he could. They were able to fit my two dogs in last minute which I appreciated and they did an excellent job. Even if it was a sub optimal groom, having an owner who works with customers to try and navigate problems and make them right makes this business stand out. Thank you!
