It's obvious that Bella takes really good care of our fur baby Winnie and trust her completely. She is responsible and reliable and we couldn't be more grateful- especially now that I'm recovering from knee surgery and physically can't be walking our spoiled black lab every day like I used to. I thought the owner must have the magic touch. I WAS VERY WRONG. On August 20th, I was asked to meet another pet parent. I was in the daycare that early morning, with CJ the owner and a few other dogs including my own. CJ retrieved a drop off mixed breed dog from outside and CJ's attitude and personality completely changed before my eyes. This 70 pound mixed breed, was treated horribly (not going to go into nasty details, as CJ's behavior was totally unacceptable). The dog got yelled at outside, inside and when I confronted CJ, I was told not to get involved by CJ since I didn't see what this dog did the day before. Regardless of what a dog did the day before, the dog has no idea why you are treating him so poorly, the following day. CJ told the dog to sit, in a screaming manner. He then left the room. The dog got up and CJ took a mop and swung it over her head as hard as he could against the wall. The mop didn't touch the dog, it was a scare tactic. CJ was so quick to pick up that mop, you can tell this wasn't his first time using this method of getting a dog to listen to him. I immediately took my 9 month old pup out of that daycare and filed a complaint with Lowell Animal Control and MSPCA. I was told by the investigator, 2 other complaints were filed during an 8 day time frame. If CJ treats a dog so poorly in front of customer, imagine what goes on when the pet parent is not around. Close this place down and take your dogs out of there. Reason for delay in review = I was directed to hold off on posting any review until the investigations were closed.

The dogs NEVER got fresh water and I caught some of them going through my things! 1 actually got loud with my dogs! My dogs got so stressed they now have behavioral issues. There's no one to complain to because the owner doesn't want to deal with it or worse, spins it! She doesn't respond to emails or text if she doesn't like what's in them. She ignores and won't make thinks right. Glad they're out of our life.

A very long overdue update & review, but better late than never!…read more After planning a trip out of the country, my "dog sitter" backed out at the last minute. And who to the rescue?! Rich and Marissa! Sadly, there is not an overnight option. However, I was gone for 6 days, and as promised, they were there early in the morning, again in the afternoon, and yet AGAIN late night to take care of my pup. When I say "take care", I don't mean it lightly! I came home to a diary of visit entries FROM EVERY VISIT--for SIX DAYS! Clearly, the proof was in the pudding as their visits were more than just a quick walk--but love, affection, play time, and attention. MY NEIGHBORS--even those I've never met, stopped me when I came home to say how happy my dog was when outside with Rich and Marissa, big smiles, tail wagging, etc. They all attested to the dedication of time put in by Paw Pals & how fantastic they were with my Naija. And, in each documentation, they were honest & sincere, and you could tell how much they love what they do each and every minute. I never once felt as though this was a burden or tribulation for them. True professionals--and good good people. I came home to the happiest I've seen my pup since I've had her! Not one ounce of resentment that I was gone! Also, I should mention--I have a special needs (three-legged) pit-bull, who suffers from the myriad of stereotypes! Boy did Paw Pals prove each one wrong! Their expertise in ALL breeds & "thinking out of the box" with my special needs pup shone through day in and day out while I was gone. Vitamins, food, appropriate exercise and down time was documented by both them AND the nosey nellies in my neighborhood. I can't praise them enough. I can't hire them enough. I can't appreciate them enough! This is the real deal--l couldn't take care of Naija better myself! I can't wait for their next visit! Keep your calendar open! Naija is anxiously waiting!!
