It started from the salesman he promised me things. When that time came it never happened. So I wanted to put up security cameras where they will be remodeling my bathroom because at this point I don't trust him. The first installers that came out had an issue with the cameras I told them I wanted to protect myself and my property. They called their office and talk to a supervisor and the supervisor told me if I don't take the cameras down they will put a lien on my property. So we argue back-and-forth back-and-forth and I said OK fine i'll take them down. At this point I just want it to be over with. The second crew that came out did the demo. They had an issue with the plumbing had to be fixed. Time has passed to do their scheduling and all the doctors appointments I had. The third crew that came out very nice Young kids. "They work their ass off" I felt so bad for them because I had to educate them on certain things. One major mistake that they did was put 2. p-traps and they didnt compact the dirt and lay concrete. But it was too late they already glued the shower pan down. I had them pull everything back up for me to inspect it. When they pull the shower pan up it got damaged. I told them I'm not gonna except the shower pan because beginning of this process they said it was a special custom shower pan. The coordinators taken care of this issue I asked her multiple times that I want a new shower pan she said that's fine. Two week has passed and they said the shower pan is new. When the fourth installer that came out I told them about the shower pan. Well just say they lied to me again it was the original shower pan all they did was sprayed foam on the and the foam was still wet. I don't mind waiting 8 to 12 weeks I waited this long. I recently had my bathroom remodeled, it's a bathtub to shower conversion and I could say my wife and I are happy with the result. From getting the estimates from Tigran, He was able to "find" me all the discounts that I could get because initially I was a bit surprised of the total cost but he was able to explain the details, and yes, I forgot that I live in California where you can't really compare the prices in the East coast. The project coordinator Aldi John dela Cruz is absolutely amazing, he took the time to thoroughly explain every detail, he went line-by-line on the contract ensuring my wife and I understood the entire process. He was really good on giving me updates whenever there are changes or any issues along the way. Gregory did a good job on the final measurements to get everything ready for the final day--the tear-down and installation. I can not say enough good things about Julio, our installer, and his assistant who completed the job in one day, the original plan promised was 3 days but since they came in early and worked till late. Very professional, knowledgeable and respectful. Julio mentioned that there were past complaints about "California" water pressure of the new shower head---but when I tested it, I could say it's a non-issue. I'll have to wait probably another year or two to renovate my other bathroom, but I guess next time, I don't have to shop around anymore for other choices. read more

Payless Bath Makeover did a partial re-model of my tiny bathroom a few months ago and I've been quite pleased with the results. The project involved removing the crummy old bathtub, faucet, tile, and glass sliding door. The space was converted to a shower stall with beautiful & extremely easy-to-clean (!!) faux subway tile acrylic panel walls, a new sliding glass door, and a Moen hand-held shower. I love it. They also replaced the old linoleum flooring with nice vinyl planks that look like distressed wood. Ani, the designer, came to my house with a sales pitch and a case full of samples. However, she wasn't pushy and, as the project proceeded, she was detail-oriented and responded promptly when I emailed with questions. The project occurred just as she described it would. Once it began, the entire job took just a few days and everyone was extremely professional (the exception to this was a plumber from a different company that Payless Bath Makeover arranged for because of an unexpected problem with the old drain pipe -- he replaced the pipe but he showed up hours late, was ill-prepared, didn't clean up after himself, and scratched the new acrylic shower pan. Just completed two bathrooms with shower/tub updates from Payless after a good experience with them completing our kitchen a few years back. Their bid was lower for both of our bathrooms, than the bid for just one bathroom from Costco! After several discussions with sales rep Robert, we were able to lower some costs and get what we wanted. They worked with us on our budget and their main office was very communicative. Our installer, Jessy Avila was amazing. He was very quiet, respectful, cleaned everything up and hauled everything away, and did great work all by himself! Happy with the results, just wish construction prices hadn't gone up so much in the last few years, but it is across the board with all companies in CA. read more

I'm pleased with the finished remodeling of our outdated shower stall. After receiving quotes on replacing the fiberglass stall with tile and told that since it is an upstairs bathroom, it would require "hot mopping " the shower flooring. That placed the entry higher than the original. We met with Harlan (Playless Rep) and where impressed by his honesty. After a few changes and constant communication with Stephine (Project Coordinator) and the professional installation by Roger and Sandra the work was completed to our satisfaction.
