There's a new laundromat opening up about a mile away, and I'm giving this place one last shot to win my loyalty. The main reason I come here is the convenience of location. By car the commute can get tricky as nobody lets you off Adam st, but I can reach this place on foot, which is the main draw for me. It's also cheaper than other places around, starting at a mere 1.75 for wash and 1.25 for dry, which fits about two weeks of clothes for my single hamper load. There is an ATM on site if you're opposed to getting cash back at one of the nearby banks or stores. Might as well stop for snacks if you're camping out, as the vending machine is a rip off, and the Hello Sweets folks are across the way. You won't find any seating if you do stay, so for those of you who don't feel stable perched on the table like myself, you can wait in your car, or on the outside bench or criss cross your applesauce right on the floor. Nobody is there to care. I have never seen any management throughout my washing days here, regardless of what time I show up. Which explains the mess, as often there is trash on the floor (today a cigarette butt that I still faintly smell and dryer sheets) despite cans around. 97 rock plays on the radio and I'm not daring to look up at the stained, dusty ceiling as the inside of the machines is what matters. They look clean enough. After ages of letting them sit, it looks like they finally installed the new machines that were parked in front of the window. I always pick the same duo, as half of them are seemingly broken. There are carts. There is free internet (tomato87). There's a change machine that hates slightly folded one dollar bills that shoots quarters out at me as I try to get coins to fill the machine. If you have low standards, you can do your laundry here. But my heart, and dirty underwear are fat from loyal.

It is right next door to the Dunkin Donuts that I always frequent when I come here for my weekly or bi-monthly laundry errands. It's located in a great area where I feel safe if I come here after the sun has set. The place is open 24/7 and doesn't have a normal station where you would go to an attendant if you have questions. It is very clean, the machines are plentiful and I think work better than some places that I have gone to in the past. There is a bathroom available that is stocked and maintain if needed. There is the normal change machines (4 total) and (2) product machines if you forget your items. There is a big mix of small washers for 2 loads up to 4+ loads. I think the dryers are big and work pretty well. I'm a frequent visitor of this place an have no had problems.

When janitor guys came into clean, I told him of broken machine. His reply: "use hot water?" I said yes. That's why he explained. He failed to realize he let me know that knew of the situation but didn't give a shit... happy to take my money! I asked for my $6.75. He rolled his eyes at me...I asked again, rolled eyes. I asked him why he was rolling his eyes... he called me "Karen".
