Saw Dr. Gifford's great reviews but was worried I'd have to wait weeks as she's booked up in advance (deservedly so as she's amazing!) so I called yesterday morning at 10:15am, and by luck and the sweetness of the staff particularly the nice lady I spoke to whose name escapes me, they had a 10:30am cancellation and told me to come on in! Staff didn't want me to lose any visit time so they let me fill out the new patient forms after I met with her... Dr. Gifford took one look, new immediately what the problem was and went to work right away! She fixed me up, gave me recommendations for new shoes and I was on my way. Take 101 and get off of Moorpark Rd toward Rolling Oaks Dr. Take Rolling Oaks all the way to the end and the 425 building parking lot entrance is on the left right before the "Dead End" sign through a series of roundabouts. Apparently Californians don't know how to handle roundabouts, so be a little cautious driving in this parking lot. The office is on the 2nd floor. Take the elevator or stairs up, take a left down the hall past the restrooms and 201 is on the right side. Dr. Chimerofsky has been helping me with a problem for a little while. He is a great listener and very down to earth. He takes the time to listen to your concerns and make sure everything is addressed properly. He prepares in advance, such as reviewing MRI reports prior to a visit which makes communication easier as he anticipates my questions. I've never had a problem with getting an appointment with him, and I've never had a long wait time on arrival. He's very upbeat and makes sure you're as comfortable as possible despite whatever pain you may be in. He is a surgeon, but he mentioned that he does PRP, which may help some patients avoid surgery altogether. I definitely recommend this place. Dr. Chimerofsky is a great doctor and his supporting staff is just as good. I've asked some strange questions to both the doctor and receptionists, and they have answered sincerely without making feel embarrassed, which I really appreciate.
