Dr. Levy is kind, patient, and thorough. I don't remember ever having to wait very long, but I do know he does a lot of surgeries, and he is stuck in surgery every once in awhile. As a general rule, dentist, doctor, hospital, I expect to wait. I do take my phone AND EARBUDS (be a good neighbor) to listen to audio books or read my my latest kindle book. But then again, I always bring something to work on or have a book to read. Sitting doing nothing for 10 min is too hard. 30 min is excruciating, right? I have a checklist: Computer, phone, kindle, glasses, water, ear buds, ID and car keys in a small canvas bag 100% charged or with appropriate chargers. In the past, I have brought needle-work. Your list will be vastly different than mine, but bring your EARBUDS to listen to DIY project you've been thinking about, etc?

Got an x-ray and was shuttled into a small waiting room. At 3p, he still hadn't shown up. Had to use the restroom. Dr. Levy was at the nurse's station when I asked where the restroom was (brand new building). When I came back, he was nowhere to be found. I thought maybe he had gone into the room to wait for me. Nope. I went up to the nurse's station and told them that i had been there for an hour, my appt was 1/2 hour ago, and to cancel it. One of the nurses asked for my name. "I've given you all the information you need. Have a nice day." As I was going into lobby, she asked if I wanted to reschedule. "No. Have a nice day." Two hours shot.

I said "I paid it online 10 minutes ago." She responded "No you didn't." After a couple minutes of prodding and checking, she said, "Oh, I see you did pay." I sat down, waited for more than 30 minutes, and suddenly the other receptionist called my name and in an accusatory tone said, "You never checked in." I said I most certainly did check in, 10 minutes before my appointment." This obnoxious woman then argued with me for several minutes before she finally admitted, "Oh I see you did check in." No apologies, just rudeness. I hope their management hears this.

This isn't something I ever would have considered earlier in my life--not for any particular reason, I just wouldn't have done it. However, for the past four months, I have been working with Dennis Bueso, MA, RD (Clinical/Sports Dietitian), and the experience has been nothing like I expected. Being very overweight, I anticipated someone taking charge of the conversation and lecturing me on what I 'better' start doing. I think TV gave me a twisted idea of how these things go. Thankfully, it hasn't been like that at all. Our conversations are excellent and open. Mr. Bueso is incredibly 'chill' and immediately sets you at ease; it feels like a normal, back-and-forth conversation between two people. He is great at following up and is just a genuinely easy person to talk to. Since starting, I've seen amazing results. For those who know what A1C is, mine had been double what it should be for over five years. In just four months, I've brought it down to exactly where it's supposed to be. I give myself credit for controlling my diet, but Dennis has been instrumental in helping me understand what to watch and work on. In addition to the blood work, I've lost over 30 pounds in that same timeframe. I definitely want to give props and thanks to Mr. Bueso. If your doctor has recommended a dietitian, just do it. I worried about how it would go, but those worries were unnecessary. It has been a great experience. Your first…read moreappointment will be a consultation to rate ur pain level and issues to establish a therapeutic regimen. Appointments are 2-3x per week normally. They also give you exercises that you can do at home. I went for the dry needling, but found out my insurance doesn't cover it, but you have the option to pay out of pocket. The room is wide open so it will be several other patients getting worked on at the same time. They do have some private rooms. You're given several exercises to build your strength back up in whatever area you have issues with, and they also incorporate some massage, and heating pads into your treatment. It's about an hour visit, and you're in and out. Wear something comfy. I have used them in the past as well and think its a nice office to use for your therapeutic needs. Check them out!!

I wouldn't send my dog to him....he's the worst doctor I've seen in many years....he treated me for…read morewhat he thought was bursitis, MRI showed a tear in my glute plus cyst...my hip is lost it's stability with all the time he wasted with X-rays I didn't need, cortisone shots that didn't help, prednisone that didn't help , 5 weeks of PT 2x a week , useless only to be told it's time for an MRI. Showed up at my scheduled time to go over the findings, waited 45 minutes, no doctor....found him looking at something on his computer, he said to me that his medical scheduler quit and basically he had other patients with more serious problems than me and I could reschedule....really??? I'm looking at surgery to repair the tears in my glute, my hip is unstable, I've been in so much pain and he wouldn't give me anything to relieve the pain either....no compassion, I wouldn't give him the time of day for the way he treated me on 10/8/2021
