My family and I have used Williamsburg Urgent Care a number of times and have always had excellent care. Staff is friendly and helpful. Best to try and call for an appt as waiting time for walk-ins can sometimes be long. But that's true everywhere. Our "go to" urgent care provider. read more

We have been going to this Urgent Care for years. I refuse to go anywhere else. First, it's pretty much ran by women. That's a plus. They are pretty on top of it. Dr. Dean (she always gives her card out) is efficient and caring. Their PA (I'm terrible with names) is also great. I have never felt like an inconvenience to them. read more

Awful experience. I was quoted a 2.5-3 hour wait for a flu test for my daughter. They called about an hour later and it took me FOUR minutes to walk back into the clinic from across the shopping center. By the time we arrived they had moved us to the BOTTOM of the waiting list and it was another 45 minutes until we were seen. For 4 minutes. Pretty unbelievable. I do not recommend this place. read more

had the worst nurse/triage experienc. I came in after six hours of throwing up every 30 mins and they treated me like I just had a hangover. I am diabetic and this stuff is so scary not being able to keep anything dow....after explaining and asking for any help, she gave me so much attitude and eye rolling. will never be going back here....just a bunch of non-caring and non-inquisitive nurses. Friendly front office staff. However I brought my 11 year old here due to persistent cough, headache, fever and ongoing bronchitis, and they refused to treat him (would not give him meds or antibiotics) about 2 nights later we were in the hospital ER with pneumonia. I came 2 days later with headache, cough, fever... and they said it's not pneumonia. There's nothing we can do for you and sent me away with no antibiotics. I need to now waste my money on a different urgent care or go to the ER and burden them just to get antibiotics so my pneumonia doesn't kill me. read more

Went in to get looked at for swollen lymph nodes, a sore throat, and headaches. I wasn't in the waiting room long thankfully and was seen pretty quickly. That's where the problems began. They took all my vitals except for my temperature (unless the finger O2 reader has a temperature feature now). Then they swabbed my throat to check for strep. Strep test came back negative. The doc comes in and checks my breathing and ears (???). Never looked at my throat, told me I had a sinus infection but never looked at my sinuses either so unless my ears have somehow become a part of my sinuses I'm curious as to how she came to that conclusion. Asked her about the swollen lymph nodes that are visible on the side of my jaw and neck, said she was glad that they were swollen because it meant my body was fighting whatever it was that was wrong with me. They didn't run anymore tests and instead prescribed me an antibiotic and a steroid and told me to come back in 2-3 days if I'm still in pain. Turns out it's most likely tonsillitis, won't know until I can get into my primary to confirm. This would've been easily confirmed at Urgent Care if they had performed a proper examination. The only reason I came here was because my primary was already closed for the day and I was getting off of work. I will not make that mistake again. I would highly recommend looking for somewhere else if at all possible. read more

Wasnt able to put my full review on their website so here it is: I was under the weather and knew I wouldn't be able to get a quick appt with my regular doctor. Went on line and saw Urgent care made appts. I made the appt for noon the next day, received a confirmation in a timely manner. I arrived 10 mins early. I was pleasantly surprised they called me back exactly at noon, very impressed. The services that I receive from Dr. Stankiewicz and her medical assistant were excellent. She was friendly and professional. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner as well as my treatment options. I felt confident i was receiving expert medical care. My overall experience was excellent and would definitely recommend this urgent care facility. read more

Visiting the area & hubby wasn't feeling well, so found this urgent care clinic with high reviews on Yelp. Heavy traffic for a Sunday afternoon (it was full), yet everyone was seen in good time. Staff was very personable & Dr B was great. She understood hubby's medical issues & agreed with us to do an X-ray before anything else. Fortunately he was cleared for anything serious, though she said to visit again if he wasn't better within a few days. We were very happy with the care received here & would visit again. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at this urgent care. Office staff was very friendly and helpful, and since I got there so early the service was very prompt. I was seen by Dr. Buetow, and had a really great experience with her. I explained that I was from out of town visiting Williamsburg, and she was able to give me a pharmacy recommendation that was close to where I was staying. Not fun to have to go to urgent care while traveling, but this was the best experience that I could have hoped for! read more

THE WORST!!! When I first walked in I was not even acknowledged by the many staff that was behind the counter. No "Hi or we will be right with you". I also waited over an hour after I already paid out of pocket for service that I did not receive. I had to ask for my money back because the staff was rude and did not care. Also other people were being seen before me that got there a lot later than I did. Walk in Urgent care??? I guess my symptoms were not urgent enough that everyone else got to go before me who arrived later than me. Ridiculous and they did nothing to try and resolve how upset I was. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED EQUALLY!! Waste of my time! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!!! read more

I visited WUC on a Saturday as a Walk In as all the on line appointments were booked thru Monday. The office opened at 800. I arrived at 8:15. The office was sunny and the front desk personnel did a wonderful job in greeting me while helping a patient check out. And later fielding phone calls as well. No issues with paper work for this 1st time patients. I felt safe in the waiting room as everyone was politely reminded to wear their masks. I was comfortable with the waiting time. I believed I was seen by the MD and out the door by 10:00. I was seen by Dr. Buetow. She was warm, knowledgeable and asked great questions to access my needs. She was careful to not duplicate lab works. She answered my questions directly and we utilized My Chart to get answers to questions regarding prior treatments I couldn't. She was mindful of her time and saw another patient while I waited to retrieve my history on My Chart. My meds were called in and this is one happy patient. My experience was a 5 star! read more

I have visited several times. Every time, the staff is courteous and pleasant, and the doctors are down-to-earth, knowledgeable and efficient. I had to wait longer than usual today, but there were many people in need of the excellent service that Williamsburg Urgent Care provides. Thus, I patiently waited my turn. I visited on 29 September with chest pains. The gentleman who took me in to get vitals asked why are you here. When I told him he stood there looking at me with a bewildered look and stated you know we're just an urgent care what do you want us to do. He then proceeded to explain to me the purpose of the Urgent care. I took the time to explain to him that I am military and already spoke to a nurse by phone and based on my symptoms she authorized me to go to urgent care which is all I can do, I'm just following orders. He just shook his head so rude disrespectful and condescending. I was embarrassed in front of my wife. I guess he thought I was a bum because I was wearing sweats. Needless to say my pain didn't get any better after the stress of this rude worker and I did end up in ER. I praise God that it is not serious just stress and anxiety. I called to complain about the rude healthcare worker and was told an office manager named Stanley would call me back but he never did. I guess they agree with this rude person and feel he represents their office well read more

I have had some pretty terrible experiences at urgent cares, this was far from it. I was very hesitant to come in the first place, but I'm glad I did. Firstly, I did not wait at all, I was in and out. Every employee were very friendly & welcoming. Dr. Dean & my nurse Christine were excellent. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I left their urgent care clinic with extra gauze and bandages they provided me with & a whole lot less pain. 10/10 would recommend this urgent care. read more

I went in late September because I had symptoms of a UTI. Registering as a new patient wasn't difficult, and I had to wait a little even though I made an appointment and arrived on time. The front desk then told me to take a urine test which came out negative, according to the nurse practitioner that saw to my visit. Note that the urine test was shipped to a lab, and the results were negative. I explained that I had frequent, burning, painful urination with bleeding and discharge, implying that I had an infection anywhere in the urinary tract. However, the nurse practitioner decided to add only dysuria and none of the other problems I've mentioned to the problem section of my Kareo profile. During the visit, the nurse practitioner prescribed Bactrim even though the urine test (probably used the litmus test) appeared to have no bacteria, as determined by the nurse practitioner. I am kicking myself for taking the antibiotics, but I desperately needed relief from my UTI symptoms. Unfortunately, the prescribed antibiotics didn't do anything to cure my symptoms. Fast forward to late November, I've developed nausea for the first time, most likely from the prescribed antibiotics, and to this day, I have chronic nausea. In addition, I wasn't informed about a pending bill from my visit to the urgent care. A lesson here is to ask about seeing a doctor and not get seen by a nurse practitioner. Another lesson is to not prescribe antibiotics without proper test results. Additionally, the nurse practitioner contacted me sometime in October informing of a negative test result from the lab. She then adds, "You should go to Urology which has a 1 to 2 month wait period", although the wait time may be wrong. In brief, I still feel bitter about my visit and experience. read more
