DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH ADT no matter what part of the country you live in…read more PERIOD!!! This company should be shut down. They are an absolute fraud. They care absolutely NOTHING about the customer. It's amazing how many agents I have talked to trying to cancel, all of whom have given me completely different answers and offers. The agents take little notes as not to have a reference when a customer calls. Their agents should be given awards for acting the part of caring for the customer! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from ADT. My next call after writing this will be to BBB along with the State Attorney General's office. If you decided to do business with them, do at the risk of your sanity.

I just recently updated my ADT system. ADT service has been good for the last 18 years. However,…read morewith this upgrade it is disappointing that the sensors are so big and not ecstatically pleasing. It's ridiculous, sensors are huge, you would think that they would be smaller considering this is 2026. Or did they install inventory from early 2000's. I expected better since they said this was an upgrade. For the windows and doors, they're huge. They should be half the size. Moreover, they should make sure that what the customer service rep matches what the tech is really going to install. And the instructions need to be updated that they give the customer for their preparation of the tech appointment. The tech person was nice. Just wish I knew that the sensor were going to be from the early 2000's. What was the reason for merging with Google if the actual sensors/equipment is not update to date.

Based on this August 2025 experience, I have deleted my recommendations for Watertight on that site. Our two previous positive experiences with this company were to 1. repair a leaking spigot next to the driveway and 2. repair a leaking pipe underneath the bathroom sink. Both prior experiences were OUTSTANDING, so we continued with this small business. For the life of me, I can't determine what changed with this company. Is it the economy that is causing many people to cut spending and tradesmen are being drastically impacted? Is it something else? I'll never know, nor do I care. Our request was to snake a laundry drain that we have done with a licensed plumber every two years when the same issue occurs. While we have used a large local plumbing company for the last twenty years, we try to support small business when we can, sometimes to our own detriment, as in this case. I ultimately called our prior company the day after Watertight came back out, and they successfully rectified the issue. It was well worth it to have the large company come out as the problem was fixed. Lesson learned. On the first visit for this issue, Jason went into our kitchen after snaking the drain on his own, without asking first. The laundry room and kitchen are in two distinct parts of the house. I had no idea he was in there, until he started talking loudly, signaling me to come in for him to show me something. One thing that differed about this experience was Jason telling us that replacing a kitchen sink pipe and sink itself would improve water pressure. However, as owners of this home since 1995, it is common knowledge (especially among city water/fire department staff) that our area of Shreveport has dealt with lower water pressure for years. Jason suggested that replacing the sink and pipe would improve the issue. Bottom line is it won't, unless the city makes significant upgrades to the plumbing infrastructure in our area, which they won't, due to cost. The kitchen sink in the attached photo is only 3 years old (photo taken on 8/29/25 @7:43 a.m. CST). The second opinion we received from the large company was the sink would make no difference and did not need to be replaced. As a sales trainer with a sales background myself, I interpreted those actions by Watertight as mere upselling, which had never happened before with him. It was definitely off putting. Perhaps the intent was not to "sell", but that's how it came across. My indoor and outdoor Ring cameras confirm Watertight was here for 40 minutes, and this included his upselling discussion attempt in the kitchen. The large company took their time (i.e. the FULL hour) and re-snaked the laundry drain and also snaked the adjoining drain on the roof. There was no additional fee for getting on the roof, as Watertight wanted to charge an additional fee of $75 to get on the roof when he came back to re-snake the laundry drain. Our longtime company charged $150 to snake both drains. Watertight charged $150 to snake the laundry drain only the first time, and additional costs for future visits to rectify the issue. It really made a difference when a company takes its time (i.e. the full hour) and addresses the issue from all angles. We cut our losses and moved on when hearing about the additional fees, before "throwing good money after bad" as they proverbial saying goes. Finally, I wish this business nothing but the best. This experience disappointed me. However, I'm pleased to report I'll be sticking to large well staffed and robust companies for my future plumbing needs.
