I went in to buy a slushie and he told me about all of the new flavors and gave me his personal recommendations. He offered me samples and joked around with me as I taste tested. When I apologized that I had no cash for a tip he said he doesn't work for tips. He was just happy to help me. He shook my hand and said he was happy to meet me. And wished me a great day. I was determined though and found $1.50 in coins and two free drink tokens for the Alliance Fire Hall in my purse to offer him. LOL I hope to run into him there to thank him again. GREAT STAFF! GREAT SERVICE!!

We stopped by in the middle of an ongoing drive to find some food and maybe do a little shopping…read more Never been to Wegman's before (no stores apparently in the South and Northeast), and we were not blown away by what we found. Yes, they have a huge prepared food area with an impressive array of meats, cheeses, sandwiches, pizzas, bakery goods, etc. and a nice sit-down area. But we found a lot of the pricing on the high side (a BLT for $12.50?). The staff seemed friendly. Our brief visit to the grocery section revealed a number of items we find cheaper in the Northeast. This is a big store to be sure, but we didn't come away terribly impressed. Maybe we'd come back and explore more? But there isn't a Wegman's anywhere near us, so this is it for now.
