This was my first experience with a Georgia Real Estate law office for the closing of a real estate…read morepurchase, as we relocated across country. I'm not sure why we received such unprofessional service. Even though they have a very simple system to upload documents and provide personal information, it is my experience they don't actually read the information on the portal. There also seems to be a lack of communication between the paralegal and the coordinator working your file. They misspelled my name on the trust deed multiple times even though my name is actually in the email address they sent the documents to. They used the wrong property address after we told them on multiple occasions, as well as in writing, the correct property address. The paralegal Priscilla was extremely rude when requesting information to the portal that our coordinator, Christie, had not yet established. They sent our new deed to our old home with my name misspelled, again. We fortunately had a good relationship with the owners of our old home and they got the documents back to us. Almost a year later we are still dealing with the incompetence of this real estate law firm that did not correct the property address. As a real estate professional, I've never seen such sloppy work. On the day of closing when we reviewed the document they did not have the way in which we wanted to hood the property correct. Even though it was the very first thing I discussed with closing coordinator. We literally drove across the country after weeks of communication with them and they never requested additional information. They tried to coerce us into signing the incorrect documents in order to close on time. When we requested they correct the documents before we signed them. Once we were able to provide them with the documentation they needed to correct the documents they misspelled my name on multiple occasions. It is surprising to discover Warren Buffet has interest in this company. I would have expected them to have a higher standard of excellence. I would avoid Weissman Peachtree City. Georgia should really consider escrow companies to handle real estate transaction closings, they have less ego and more competition.
