The girl tinkered with it for about 30 minutes and told me my buttons were dirty and triggering the phone to restart constantly.i took it home cleaned it very well although I could see no physical dirt and I have a protective case which should not really allow for dirt to get in there and still the problem continued. The next day I went to Repairtech RXand the gentleman there deduced within minutes that my start up was somehow set at 30 seconds and so the the constant restart. He set my phone straight in less than 5 minutes at no charge. He was kind and calm and had 2 sweet dogs with him in his shop and he wouldn't allow me to pay for his services. I attended home hardware recently to return an item I purchased. The cashier I dealt with was…read moreterribly unpleasant and she acted like I should know the home hardware policies by heart. I didn't know there was a 30 day limit to return the item, but nonetheless, the item had never been used and I felt it wasn't unreasonable to speak to the owner. The moody cashier attempted to reach the owner and was unable to do so. She claimed he was on his lunch break. She stepped out for a few minutes, came back and said the owner declined to meet with me and refused to take back my 14$ item. The cashier had a smirk on her face and it really looked like she was pleased not to take back my item. I will NEVER go back there again, not because I wasn't able to return my item but because the service that I received was so unprofessional and frustrating. I will make sure to tell all my family and friends about this experience. I do not recommend this store.

I've been in Photo World in Sudbury a few times now, and will never return. Each time, I'm treated…read morecondescendingly, and every response I get from the staff is not only unhelpful, but also derogatory and counterproductive. They seem to function in a way that "The customer is NEVER right". I normally just look the other way from these events, but am repulsed by the lack of customer satisfaction at this store. Now here's the kicker: I've spoken about this with half a dozen friends, and they've all had some very memorable experiences. Here are a few direct quotes from different friends, and i'm sure if i were to dig, i'd find more: - "My friend is new to Canada, and they were VERY rude to her!" - "that's why I stopped going there" - "I'll never go in there again... The son was nice, the dad was the worst person I think I've ever met in my life." - "Yup... I've experienced this lots. The only saving grace is the young brunette... the rest seem so morose. Won't go back." To be fair, one of them said: "They've been great to us every time... think it depends on if you get the son or the father." But, I don't think any business working on a "1 out of 5 ain't bad" system could strive. Either way, they seem to treat their customers poorly, and the more I mention it to friends, the more I hear horror stories. A couple of facts: -You're not allowed to send them tiffs or similar big images, their system "can't handle them". -Your photos have to be on a USB stick (not on a card). Otherwise they get mad at you. -You can't email them photos. -You can't send them a link to the photos (otherwise, they charge you for the time it takes them to download the file.) -They'd first ask you to leave the store and come back with the proper formatting before they bend ANY of their rules. -Go in prepared to argue, because that's all they seem to do.

Even when Canada Post tried misplacing our film, they seemed as distressed as we were! We even visited them at the store once, and while there we chatted with the young guy, and he suggested a place to have lunch. My experience with them was good. Maybe some people just need to learn that there are guidelines with every business. If they require a certain file type or size, that's just the way it is. No sense in getting upset if you're asking for something they don't offer.
