Upon a last-minute request, Alex came out to meet with us to inspect the water-damaged floor and gave us an estimated timeline of the repair, and he finished the project without delay (unlike many contractor horror stories we've heard). They saved us so much stress as a new home owner dealing with severe water damage. The new floor came out absolutely gorgeous and we're in love! Jeff was patient, full of great design ideas, and made the whole process easy. We live in a 100-year-old Harlem townhouse, so nothing is square--but the crew took their time with the template and made sure everything fit perfectly. On install day, it was like watching a knife go through butter--smooth and seamless! Jeff also helped with stone updates around two fireplaces, and even found beautiful remnant pieces that worked perfectly. The whole team was punctual, professional, and very responsive throughout. I've bought from its adjacent and possibly affiliated Qin/Jin Lumber (recently renamed to something…read morelike One Corp Lumber), but this tile store holds its own court in the very specialized tile, ceramics, kitchen and bathroom supplies. We came namely to get tile for a quick repair but we've on and off noted and wanted then forgotten this place during 4 major rounds of tile-buying for our current home's ongoing progress. Finally, at last, we came and it's as good as it looks outside with immediate attentive service from the admittedly not-busy shopkeeper and tile specialist who knew what is in and out of stock which is crucial given the ongoing major supply chain problems which styme the atypically easy possibilities. We easily found tile we liked from its prominent and easy-to-peruse tile display stand and ascertained it was in stock so after easy negotiating (still a thing here), calculating, and payment, we got the car ready which thankfully is easier as this part of the block on New Utretcht Ave has some spots and loaded easily. I look forward to returning for the next round of tile as we have a stairs project which will benefit from their nice selection, very fair prices, and expert knowledge.
