I ask her to hand her phone to an employee, and when I asked why this is so expensive the employee raised their voice at me. He is unprofessional and perpetuates the negative stereotype of crooked mechanics preying on young women.

More likely, I'll just be dumping more money in sonl you can "half fix it" a 2nd time. One mechanic even told my wife to "hit the dash when her A/C wasn't kicking on...AFTER they fixed it. GTFO... Really!? Cost wasn't exactly on the cheap side...maybe fair, but ONLY if they fix the problem. My impression is they had way more cars than they could handle and were trying to rush them outa there.
