The way peeps are tied is nonfunctional and easily moved, Cable driven arrow rest cords are just tied right to the cable instead of being spliced in and served. I would imagine string changes are being done without a drawboard because none of these bows are in time and they aren't checking the work being done. The bow I saw yesterday had 10+ degrees of cam lean and a cable making contact with the cam after getting it back from F&F. Giving a customer their bow back when the cable is rubbing against the cam is straight up dangerous; If you can't identify an issue like that and communicate it to the customer you shouldn't be pressing bows. Don't do transfer here! They took 4 days to log the received firearm into their A&D book. You can…read morenot fill out the 4473 form until the firearm is logged into the A&D book, so basically, you'll have a 11 day waiting period, after they receive your firearm (which probably took 4 days to get there). And much like the proprietor, most of the items in the store are well-preserved. He can seem a touch crotchety but he's not. He's just an old dude who has seen it all. The interior is a dark wood paneling. Now, what's he got? Firearms. All kinds of varying calibers and varying quality. Nothing new. I believe that they store guns for estates until such time as they are to be sold or distributed. I know that the owner also does appraisals on guns for estates. Oh yeah, Kane's is in the front part of a building where in the back they do auto repair to some funky brands of cars. Not unusual to see an Alpha Romeo or MG or an old Mercedes. Go. Explore. I know that there is a shortage of real-estate in Rhode Island but there are plenty of gun shops. I learned a hard lesson here, the best prices and most knowledgeable crew is at MidState in Coventry. I wish i had listened to the advice i was given about MidState, and believe me i have paid the price for not listening.
