I wish I could give them more than just 5 stars!!! From the moment I walked in the door at the Franklin, TN location, both Cecelia and Alyssa were extremely welcoming and treated me like I was a regular patient. Caring, very helpful and made my experience 12+ stars! I've only gone to your walk-in optometrists (Visionworks, etc.) and I've never felt like I do at Dr. Peace's. Other offices try to sale you their glasses and are quit pushy to say the least. Going to Dr. Peace was a COMPLETELY different experience. Dr. Peace taught me more about my prescription and eyes than any optometrist that I've seen in 33 years. He is honest and pleasant to around. The first exam was extremely quick and I was in and out in no time. Being as busy as we all can be, its hard to wait and be patient. :) We ordered a trial pair of contacts (first time attempting to wear them vs. glasses) and they came in very quick. They called and scheduled an appointment for me to come in an learn how to put them in, etc. etc. Again, Cecelia and Alyssa were AMAZING!!! Alyssa was very informative on the contact process and educated me so well on how to use them. No wait when I walked in, she had my contacts ready to rock and roll. Best experience yet and I can't wait till my next annual exam! Actually look forward to those things now. Our entire family goes to Peace Eyecare. When a provider can give fantastic care to each member of our family and have us all smiling on the way out the door, you know they're doing something right. In addition to their insanely high quality examinations, their customer care and follow up service is unmatched. Case in point - their team recently were able to fix an unbelievably bent and damaged frame we brought in, expecting to have to purchase a new replacement. But, 15 minutes later, we were on our way, with glasses that were restored to nearly like new condition! Can't promise similar miracles ALL the time, but I can promise you will not be disappointed if you choose Peace Eyecare for your vision needs. There is no better provider in Middle TN! read more

Recently moved here and after reading tons of recent Facebook reviews, I decided to try Peace. I had an on time appointment and thorough exam. The receptionist was great in helping me pick my glasses out. She also gave me a lesson on adjusting to bifocals and I love them. They have early morning hours starting at 7.30 some days. My daughter was also seen there for an eye issue and was given advice and a (very short term) steroid when the over the counter wouldn't help. I love this place. Every once in a while, I have an extraordinary experience with a business, and Peace Eye Care is one of those great businesses. Dr. Peace is a sharp, young optometrist with new, state-of-the-art equipment. He is easy-going and warm, as are his staff. In particular, I appreciated how he explained what each test did, how it worked, and how my eyes were responding. We have since returned to Peace for eye exams for our three children and for my wife. Two of my children needed glasses for the first time, and we were all extremely pleased with the results. They do not have a huge selection of frames, but you can buy your own frames (we ordered my daughters via the internet because nobody had them in stock) and they will fit lenses to them. Peace did a great job fitting me with contacts for the first time, and provided me with some samples to try some different styles and brands. I am very pleased with the results. read more

I went to Dr. Peace's office on 6/28/17 to have a screw replaced in my frames because it had fallen out. The receptionist told me they would have to order a screw and it would be coming from Italy so it may take a while, she placed the order that day. I got a call that the screw was in a month later on 7/26/17. The receptionist took my glasses in the back and placed the screw in them and came back out and I put them on and walked out. I had to get back to work. As I was driving I felt my glasses and the screw was poking out of the frame. She had screwed the screw completely through my frame, it wasn't flush, and it was obviously the wrong screw. So I demanded they order me a new pair of frames since she had ruined that pair, which were Michael Kors and very expensive. She took down all the info for my frames and said she would order another pair just like them for me. That was on 7/27/17. I got a call on 8/14/17 that my new frames were ready. (They still had yet to order the correct screw). I got there to pick them up and they were a completely different color (because she claimed they don't make my color anymore, but didn't call and tell me that just picked another color of her choosing), and they expected me to give them my damaged frames in return for completely different frames. I loved my frames she ruined. I was not giving them up for frames that were different and I didn't like. I left and said "fine order me another color that I might like, being purple ones". Weeks later they called and left me a voicemail at 11:30 am while I was at work saying "your new frames are in, pick them up by 4:30 or you won't get them". I don't get off work till 4:30. I was completely over it and done with them at this point. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced and that receptionist should NOT be allowed to touch the patient's glasses. She's a receptionist. I don't think Dr. Peace even knew any of this happened. But who knows. I have since got online and ordered the original frames of mine that were ruined. I got them two days later. The one's the receptionist told me they don't make anymore and she couldn't get. I have also found a new eye doctor. I suggest everyone else should too. This place is a joke. read more

I've been going to peace Eyecare for years. The staff is wonderful. Appointments are quick and painless. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have always been categorized as "legally blind" without the use of corrective lenses, glasses as a child, and contacts from high school on. After wearing contacts for many years, I wanted to get a pair of glasses as a backup, but was told by my "previous" optometrist that it would be impossible for him to fit me for glasses, due to the lenses being too thick for the frames, so I went without glasses for over three decades. Then I moved to Franklin, TN and became a patient of Jarrod Peace, where miracle of miracles, he didn't hesitate in fitting me for glasses, and the lenses were not thick, but those of normal size lenses - I was ecstatic!!! Dr. Peace also has the latest state-of-the-art eye equipment, and left no doubt in my mind that he was more than educated in the area of eye care. On a light note, I like to refer to Dr. Peace as the "Doogie Howser" of Optometrists, due to his looking so young...but don't let his youthfulness fool you however...he is light years ahead of most optometrists!!!! read more

I have always had great experiences at Peace Eyecare. I have been seeing Dr. Peace for 2 years now, and will see him again this summer for the 3rd year. He is great, and I feel like his exams are very thorough and that I receive all the information that I am looking for. The first year, I opted to order contacts and it was a great experience. Last year, I decided I needed a new pair of glasses. Unfortunately, I didn't find a pair of frames that I liked there, so I ended up going somewhere else for my frames and to have them filled. Sleazy business practices. The office never answers the phone or returns your call if you leave a voicemail. I lost my glasses and need new ones and they won't even acknowledge me. IT"S ILLEGAL TO WITHHOLD PRESCRIPTIONS. read more

I have been seen by both eye doctors and they both were very professional and helpful. However the people running this place are a joke! There front desk does not know what they're doing at either locations. They rescheduled both my appointment and my mothers without letting us know and had a sign up on the door telling us they were closed. A year I scheduled for my yearly exam, and they could not find me as a patient there when I had been seen three different times before. I even had to call back several times for them to return my phone call because they never called me confirming my appointment. Then I was charged everything up front which I have never done before. Afterwards when I told the lady to fax my script to my job she did not include a cover sheet, which I specifically asked her to do. Three weeks later they finally ran my card through and processed my payment and it overdrafted my account. I would not recommend ANYBODY going to there office because of there HORRIBLE staff. I even wrote a letter to there office and nobody even aknowledeged it or apologized for the horroble experience. WORST eye doctors office ever! read more

She helped me through everything and she was very nice throughout the whole time I was there. She was very nice to me even when she was helping me pick out my glasses. There are three locations and I scheduled my appointment at the Trousdale one. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Peace was extremely helpful and made me feel at ease immediately. He listened to my concerns about contacts, and sent me home with two different types to try (which have both been perfect, he knows his stuff!). At other eye places I've either had to wait a really long time to be seen or had some promotion continuously pushed on me - this was not the case at Peace Eyecare. They are efficient and well-priced, and will get you in and out the door with exactly what you need. read more

Should have learned a lesson from when we first got my son's glasses there. That was an incredibly lengthy and rather unpleasant process, but for some reason I thought I'd give them a second chance. My son went in to get an eye exam as he felt he wasn't seeing as well as he had been with his glasses. So we scheduled and yes, one eye had changed a fair amount. Good to know. They were to order the new lens and let us know within a week when they would be expected to arrive. Two weeks later we'd heard nothing, so I called the office. I said my son had been in two weeks prior and was getting new prescription lens and I was just following up on ETA. The girl that answered the phone put me on hold and went to check. She comes back and said she had found the tray with the order in it, but no lenses so they were not here yet as he had been in "Just the other day". I asked politely if there was an ETA as I was surprised two weeks was considered "the other day". (I didn't even remind her that I had asked about an ETA in the first request.) She sighed heavily and put me on hold. When she got back she said that since it had been two weeks they "HOPED" the lens would be in this Wednesday, but there was no way to be certain. I said that was fine, and went on to ask if they were open this coming Friday in case the lens did come in (it's good Friday so I know some businesses close and I was only inquiring). The girl snapped "No ma'am we are not open Friday and we are not open Saturdays either. We will let you know when the lenses come in and work him in to get them put into his frames." I said okay, we'll work with that and hope to get an early appointment so as to not have to take him out of school. She responded in a sharp tone that early appointments always fill up so we need to plan on mid day. I said thank you and hung up. 3 strikes and you're out Peace Eyecare. 1) I had asked for an ETA in my first request so getting a huffy sigh and attitude about it when I had to ask again is not okay. 2) I hadn't asked about a Saturday appointment so I didn't need her to snap at me to tell me their are no Saturday appointments AND she didn't need to tell me they would let me know and basically to not call back and I'd take whatever appointment they gave and like it. I had only been polite and inquiring. 3) Telling me there was no way on this earth (by her tone) that we would get an early appointment when I had not pressed at all on that point, nor had I even mentioned a Saturday appointment since I was aware they don't do Saturdays. ... I am the customer. I was nothing but polite in inquiring. Do not snap at me over nothing. There's an old adage that a happy customer tells 1 person while an unhappy customer tells 10. I hope this reaches way more than 10. read more

I have never been to a medical office and had such a great experience that I remember the receptionist's name! Dr. Peace and Cecelia are awesome. I have been going there now for about 3 years and will continue to for as long as I can. I tell everyone I know in need of an optometrist to go here. Dr. Peace takes his time and really listens and makes sure you get a good fit. He cares enough to really get it right and Cecelia is always such a joy to talk with. I don't know how she always remembers me, but she does!!! read more
