I had two broken sets of glasses and Justin immediately started helping me out and fixed both within minutes. Another thing that I'm sure they all do but that I loved was that he took the time to clean both pairs for me and asked if j need any adjustments or anything else. She truly saved my life, and I do not say that lightly. Before seeing her, I had visited another eye doctor who dismissed my symptoms. I had been experiencing severe left eye pressure and a headache that persisted for 15 days, and despite my pain and fear, I felt ignored and unheard. When I arrived for my appointment with Dr. Lindsey, everything changed. From the moment she walked into the room, she treated me with respect, compassion, and genuine concern. She thoroughly evaluated me from A to Z, explained that I had severe dry eye and elevated pressure in my left eye, and considered every possibility including sinus-related issues. She didn't minimize my symptoms. She didn't rush. She listened. Later that evening, I received multiple missed calls from your office and even from Dr. Lindsey's personal cell. When I called back, she told me she had a gut feeling that something wasn't right and insisted I go to the emergency room to make sure I was safe. She trusted her instincts and because of that, I am still here today. Since that night, she has stayed actively involved in my care. She communicated with the emergency department, my primary care provider, and neurology. She pushed for answers when I felt helpless, scared, and in unrelenting pain. She fought for me when I didn't have the strength to fight for myself. Thanks to her persistence and care, I was referred to Loden Vision and evaluated by Dr. Hackett, which led to deeper testing, including MRI and MRV scans. Dr. Lindsey's instinct was right. I did have major sinus involvement, increased intracranial pressure, venous sinus stenosis, and CSF abnormalities all conditions that can cause severe headaches, vision loss, and even life-threatening complications. Because she acted quickly and refused to ignore the warning signs, my condition was finally identified. I now have life-saving surgery scheduled, aimed at protecting my vision, my neurological function, and my overall health. Without her, I would not have reached this point in time. Please know that Dr. Lindsey represents everything a patient hopes for in a physician: Compassion Thoroughness Medical intuition Dedication Advocacy Humanity She is the kind of doctor who changes and saves lives. Or am I misunderstanding what walk-in means." And she stupidly said, the most recent time I visited, "Well we have to plan ahead for things like lunches." Let me just say, there was NO ONE in their office.... both times I went. It actually probably took her longer to turn me away than it would if she'd just had me go back for the exam. I have been seeing an Opthalmologist since 1997 and have never been told I had high pressure. My second visit with Schindler, August 2019 I was told I was about to lose my privilege to drive as my vision was 20/50 in one eye and 20/40 in both eyes, plus my pressure was 29 and 30. I made an appointment with my Opthalmologist the next day saying it was urgent so they saw me. My M.D. doctor said Schindler was not recalculating the pressure in my eye because of a thickened cornea. My pressure by my M.D. was 13 and 15. I have AMD, both wet and dry and I should never see an Optometrist because they're not qualified to understand some of the issues with medical issues. I will only see my M.D. from here on out for the refraction of my eyes, plus he can also see if my Diabetes has affected my eyes between visits. This doctor scared the heck out of me making me think I was about to lose my license and I don't live near a bus line. I'm in the country. If anyone could give me heart palpitations at 82, it's Dr. Schindler. See an M.D. if you have other medical issues.

I've got to agree with all the other reviewers thus far - Dr. Conn and his staff are awesome…read more The only things I can really add that haven't already been said: He does not use any sort of electronic health record, nor does he have an online patient portal, but he does not lack for efficiency, it would seem. Of course, considering he's presumably been in the business awhile, he has his process down to a science. I could tell that while he certainly wasn't following a script, it was a formulaic sort of visit - but not in a negative way. It's not often that I'm happy with medical providers; I can honestly say that this was easily the best experience I've ever had at an optometrist's office, and perhaps top 5 across all specialties - and I have medical providers in my family! He was confident, but not arrogant, wise, but not a know-it-all, and generally had no detectable trace of any negative personality trait stereotype typically associated with many medical practitioners. If you can't tell, it was a refreshing experience - a nice change from my usual, so to speak. Oh, it DOES bear mentioning that he does NOT carry Luxottica eyewear, which owns 80 percent of all high-end eyeglass brands (Ray-Ban, Oakley, Prada, Versace, just to name a few), which is quite the feat. For those of you who HAVE to have the latest brand-name style, mass-produced so you can look like everyone else - just go to him for your exam. You can take your prescription elsewhere. The frames Dr. Conn's office carries span all price ranges, but they all appeared to be of high quality. The pair of frames I settled on were unique, stylish, solidly built, and, many months afterwards, I'm still quite happy with them. In short, I couldn't be happier with my experience at Conn Vision. Dr. Conn and his staff were pleasant, professional, his services are reasonably priced, the location is convenient - what more could you ask for? I will hate when he retires and I have to find somewhere new.
