That worked wonderfully for us on our recent visit where we were so disappointed to find the city practically a ghost town and all the spots we'd been so excited to visit closed because it was a Monday. My friend and her young daughters and I had a terrific time perusing the eclectic offerings, including tons of great vintage and legit labels. We were offered coffee, and the gal working was super welcoming. Prices are a touch on the high side, but there are some great sales (all pink and green tickets were 25% off on our visit, and they always have sales on Mondays, which makes it a doubly delightful day to visit). My friend's kids were over the moon at the fancy outfits they found for the Captain's Dinner on their upcoming cruise.

The store is chock full of sweatshirts, t-shirts, and more. I found a sweatshirt that I liked but they didn't have my size, so an employee told me I could probably find it online. I did look but couldn't see it there, so it may just be luck of the draw if you are looking for something specific. They had a big clearance section in back that we looked through - I saw a lot of cropped tees which I know are popular but definitely not for me. Classic styles can still be found at Marushka though. Some of the prints were just a little too whimsical for me to consider wearing, but I did enjoy looking at them and they brought a smile to my face. I think that's part of the whole point - so even though I didn't purchase anything, this shop still brought me joy. Definitely a great spot to find kids' clothes.

Checking out with the owner was another experience. She rang up a necklace and the looked at the price tag on the jacket, I had hoped to purchase. She looked at me and said the wrong price was on the jacket. "Obviously someone has put a different price tag on this coat", With that, she ripped the price tag off and looked at me as if I had replaced the tag. I told her I did not that that was the tag that was on the coat. The tag did not look like it had been tampered with, and I was not sure where she was going with her acquisition. There were a number of other customers standing around the check out counter. I was embarrassed with the way she handled this. . Needless to say, I did not purchase the jacket. She may have had a bad day. I hope she treats her other customers better than she did today.

It's located in their downtown main street area, very easily accessible, and has so many goodies! My friend and I went bananas in this store and got so much cute stuff and it's always things I never see anywhere outside of Gliks either, which is what really sets them apart from other spots. Even on brand name items like Carhartt, they always have colors and patterns more unique and not sold at other stores that carry the same brands, and I just love that! Wish there was a Gliks closer to me, but also maybe it's a blessing in disguise that there isn't one otherwise I'd be completely broke!
