One of the best facials I've ever received (if not the best)! You can tell Heather is super passionate about skincare and wellness just after one visit. She took the time to really get to know my skin and gave me a number of awesome suggestions. She spent a lot of time in the areas of my skin I have issues with, including my shoulders! I even got a foot massage and shoulder massage during a basic facial - which has never ever happened before. On top of everything, is extremely sweet and I appreciate her non-pushy personality. She helped find products I asked about but doesn't push anything on you to sell. She reviews the stuff she's using on you before hand and walks you through what she's going to do just so you are clued in on the process. I was extremely impressed and will definitely be going back. I do not know of a more caring and supportive person than Heather. Having her there with us for the birth of our son was a tremendous help to us and I don't know that I could've done it without her. Being soon-to-be new parents, we had no idea what we were in for and she helped us every step of the way. We met ahead of time to go over materials she recommended we read and she helped us come up with our birth plan, which usually never goes exactly according to plan and ours was no exception. It was extremely helpful to go over various options and scenarios with her ahead of time so we were better informed when our plan deviated. She also helped us come up with questions I needed to ask my doctor that we would have never considered on our own. My labor was long and difficult and she stayed the entire time because she knew we would need her. When my little one finally made his debut, she played a song that I had mentioned to her in passing was sentimental to me and it made the moment that much more special - that's just one small example of how thoughtful she is and how much she cares for the people she works with. She will go above and beyond any time she is needed and she will make sure your voice is heard when there is complete chaos in the delivery room. She's also an amazing esthetician. Her facials do wonders for my skin and are always soooo relaxing! I have had multiple appointments with Heather for facials, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels. Every experience was very positive. She has so much knowledge and she really wants to get to know her clients so she can tailor her services to help them as much as possible. Heather is amazing! I had my 3rd facial with her yesterday. I left incredibly relaxed, she doesn't miss a single detail. While the mask sits on the face she massages into the scalp (so don't make big plans after). There are two kinds of yoga instructors - the most common kind are often so wrapped up in their own world that they sometimes don't seem to really understand what their clients need. Then there's the other kind--Heather at Peace Lily is technically excellent, enthusiastic about her work, and also - and this is what sets her apart - supremely empathetic to her clientele. She listens to what they need, provides programs tailored to their specific intentions, and follows through after-the-fact. I've had many facials in my life. Some were great, others were good, and few have been not even worth talking about. My experience with Heather at Peace Lilly Wellness was GREAT! Heather welcomed me outside of the fitness gym to guide me to the hidden gem of an esthetician studio room. She had prepared for me a very nice light tea, and my choice of essential oils, while I took my time to fill out questions regarding my skincare and healthcare routine. Once I had finished, she took the time to go over it and find out my concerns and explain what could be the best way to achieve my goals. Before the facial began she thoroughly explained how the process would go, gave me options to exclude any part that I may not like(e.g. extractions, generally for most the painful part). I didn't opt out of anything, I wanted the works. She was gentle, checked in regularly to make sure I felt comfortable, along with the luxurious facial I also receive an amazing massage on my feet, arms, neck, shoulders, and scalp(all optional). Just had an AMAZING facial here. My skin seriously is glowing! Heather greeted me and I instantly felt calm and relaxed. We walked into the treatment room and it's serene and super clean. She had me fill out some paperwork to get to know my skin issues better and then talked about what I was looking for out of the facial. I got exactly what I asked for! She is super knowledgeable and you can tell she loves what she does. When I get a facial one of the things I look forward to are the head and shoulder massage that usually accompanies...she did not disappoint! In fact, it was one of the best I had ever received! I almost felt asleep a few times and had to catch myself so I could make sure not to miss out on the massage. I felt like I was floating at the end, just pure bliss. The facial ended with a lovely cup of tea and we chatted a bit about the treatment I received and what she found while doing my facial. I will definitely be coming back! read more
