Chuck is the best! My fiancée and I had the most amazing time. I'm interested in the geology side of minerals and she is interested in the metaphysical side. Very small store; the rock store in Cottonwood is much better. Visited this specifically to treasure hunt for Robert Shields' unique artwork, but they had very few pieces. Made the mistake of using my right hand to turn a necklace on a display so I could see it better and was admonished by the employee for not using the correct hand, which is apparently my left. I'm extremely near-sighted and had a hard time seeing the tiny details on the jewelry, and I knew being right handed I'd probably forget the instructions and incur the wrath of the employee again, so I left. read more

I came here 12 years ago and got some amazing, surprisingly cheap, and absolutely beautiful canvas hanging artwork. My spouse and I specifically sought this store out when we came back hoping to get more if the chakra artwork. We searched and finally found it. The art was even better and so reasonably priced. They also have crystals/stones and singing bowls, literature, music and I was even told that they are a Reiki school. The atmosphere here is different and you can tell. I went here twice and found what I was looking for. The staff person was very helpful and even gave me a free stone each time. I was very comfortable looking for rose quartz and amethyst here, even finding one rough amethyst stone that I love. This is a place that has supports reiki and mediation practices in a nearby room, making it even more important to me to shop here. (The room may be closed during this time.) This is one of the first places I visited when arriving in Sedona, and it was one of the last places I visited before leaving Sedona. Whenever I come to Sedona it's always to get away from the busy city of Los Angeles and reconnect and re-calibrate by doing some deep inner healing work part of that is attending a healing event and the last time I visited I did the sound healing event that's hosted on Saturdays and it was powerful, I decided to do it again on this visit and it was nothing short of amazing! I can't remember the gentleman's name that hosted this event but the energy is phenomenal there is shamanic drumming and also playing of crystal bowls and chanting and before I knew it the event was over I definitely left my body and purged a lot of unnecessary energy that I no longer needed. If you're visiting Sedona and you're looking for a beautiful sacred space to experience healing I highly recommend looking into the sound healing that they do on the weekend. I just spent the last week at Peace Place, and it was such a powerful experience! I was retaking Reiki I, II and III in the same week (since I was already at the Master level). Laurelle and Michael are very warm, experienced and knowledgeable teachers, who guided our classes on an exceptional journey of learning and healing. In fact, you'll find a lot of interesting geologic treats here - outdoors as well as inside. And be sure to check out their bell bronze bells from Nepal.
