Hi Mommas, If you're looking for a Christian Preschool/TK with loving teachers, Peace Preschool is where it's at! I just wanted to put the word out about this hidden gem in Elk Grove. Both of my girls have gone there for the last 3 years and have loved it. Things we loved: -price is affordable -kids don't have to be potty trained -staff is amazing, feels like family -Their TK program has classes as small as 8 students! This was a huge blessing for us. My toddler loves peace preschool. I wasn't sure how she would react to going to school and being away from me for a few hours during the week. However after her first class she told me she wanted to come back everyday. She loves her teachers and comes home telling me her favorite things she did at school that day. She gets excited to go to school and plans what she'll wear the next day or ask if she could show whatever trinket or toy she has to her teachers. This is a child who cries when I leave the house without her or drop her off for babysitting. I'm so thankful she loves peace preschool so much and the teachers there are amazing. read more

This is the best preschool ever! They whole heartedly loved on my kids and I for years. Through our ups and downs they were right there and very empathetic with how chaotic life can be being a full time mom working mom with multiple kids. Man were we lucky to have found Peace. Thanks to a friend's recommendation, we decided to try Peace despite living in East Sac. It was far and away the best decision for both of our kiddos. The teachers are amazing in both the curriculum they teach and their communication throughout the whole process. What was most important to us was how much you could see they cared for each child. We were so disappointed we had to move away and couldn't keep our daughter in the program until she starts Kindergarten. I'd recommend Peace to anyone in a heartbeat. read more

Both our boys have gone to Peace Preschool and we have had such a great experience. The teachers are so kind and caring and the school really feels like a close knit community. Our oldest is going into Kindergarten this year and he felt so ready because of the preparation he got a Peace Preschool. I love that they also post pictures of our kids every day so as a parent we could get a glimpse into what they were learning and playing at school. I highly recommend Peace to anyone who asks! They have been an amazing first school experience for my son, who grew up during the Covid era of not being around or left with a lot of people. When he struggled with me leaving at the beginning of the year, they would hold him and send me pictures to show me he was ok. I am so grateful we went with them as we considered the free public school TK. Our school's TK is also great, but a classroom of 24 students with 1 teacher and possibly 1 aid is nowhere near the experience of 10-12 students with 2 teachers. His teachers Ms. Tara and Ms. Sou-wah both love him and make him feel special and seen during the day. The director Ms. Kim is so kind and communicates frequently, and even the teachers who don't have my son know him (and all the kids) by name. The have different pretend play they rotate out (right now it's a flower shop with fake flowers, it was a vet with stuffed animals and doctor tools before, the month before something else, etc). They are preparing him well for kindergarten, but still focus on fun and playing. read more

We love peace! We toured quite a few schools looking for the perfect one. We loved how small it was and how they really pay attention to each children and not only assess their academic needs but their emotional as well. We LOVE Peace Preschool! It was recommended to us by another friend who couldn't say enough good things about it and it has definitely lived up to the hype. They are always so attentive to the kids when they walk in and look to involve them quickly. The director (Ms. Kim) is an amazing communicator and I love that I always know what is going on well in advance. I love the amount of play that is involved while also learning in so many academic areas- letters, numbers, colors, writing. Peace has been such a wonderful first preschool experience for my son; who had a very emotional start to the year but the teachers and the director made the transition for him so much easier and he loves attending Peace! It gives me such a peace of mind as a mother knowing that my important little guy is in great hands and that his emotional, spiritual and academic needs are being met. The school's core values are awesome which was very important to me. I really love their balanced class structure and schedule. I love that they encourage outside play daily and that their play structure being shaded is such a welcome bonus! The teachers are so attentive, wonderful and warm and always let me know how my son is doing. Ms Kim is so personable and always so detail orientated and is so great about keeping all us parents up to date and in the know. Our family LOVES Peace. Our son has many food allergies, and they have been so careful and diligent to keep him safe. The teachers are very kind, attentive, and do a wonderful job at teaching the kids. Our son has been so excited to attend. My child comes home so happy and loves to go. He tells me about letters and the cool things he did at school. They have an area for dramatic play, sing songs, do crafts, learn numbers and letters, and have bible time. The teachers are wonderful! Very patient, fun, and attentive. My child loves his teachers and I do too. The director Kimberly is amazing and easy to communicate with. We love Peace! My son started in their 2 & 3 year old class and is now in the MWF class. Class size is small so kids get a lot of attention. Very affordable but you are not sacraficing quality of care for great prices. My son loves all the teachers. My husband and I are not particularly religious but we have no problems with the curriculum at Peace, which does have religious aspects to it. It is helping to teach our son to be compassionate and greatful. Can't say enough good things!! read more
